Honestly, I'd prefer if we by default assue that something that one character notices, the other characters do too, and Mordred very explicitly noticed them. It can be assumed that you all are working together in good faith and pointing things out to each other without the players having to explicitly specify that. Now, if there's a situation where communication is more limited (i.e. you guys are sneaking, or being watched, or whatever), then maybe we won't assume that. But looting a room? Meh.
None of us are computers, I don't need you to painstakingly lay out every little thing your characters do. I know some DM's insist on that, and I can see the value in being that precise, but that's not the style of game I run.
