Hah, sorry guys--I promise to make sure there's plenty of friendly fire, though.

She snapped her sling! She still could have slung insults, I guess.KingOfCowards wrote:So named...she certainly doesn't listen to my orders of staying back and attacking from missile range

My bad...I must have read it wrong. I thought her and Galen both dropped their slings trying to hurl the stones too far.
Re: Expedition - Bertram/Dwarven Ruins II - 19 April, 1 VC
That's how I read it as well, King; I tried to recover, but ended up having to heal Bromric I recovered my sling, but had to heal Bromric before I could use it.
DM: is Bromric conscious and up, or does he look as if he still requires healing?

Should Constance charge into battle as well, or does Seadu need additional attention?

He's stable as-is, but won't be doing anything without further attention.

If we want to get Seadu back in the fight, it will take another CLW or he also has a healing drought. Probably well worth it, since he still has a spell of his own.
Re: Expedition - Bertram/Dwarven Ruins II - 19 April, 1 VC
Appreciative if someone pours Bromric's healing potion into his mouth while he is gasping there. .

Gotcha covered.Marullus wrote:Appreciative if someone pours Bromric's healing potion into his mouth while he is gasping there. .
Galen is surprised when Bromric's eyes fly open...the man's injuries still seem life-threatening. His healing magic spent, Galen discovers another option in his attendance to Bromric; a small flask. A quick sniff and the odor of licorice and vinegar tell him it is likely a healing brew, similar to the one he himself carries for emergencies. With a last prayer, he pours it down the badly injured warrior's throat, raising him so he can swallow.
Whole potion.
Bromric's brew of healing: [1d6] = 5

Once I have Constance's plan, we'll be good to resolve another round.

Seeing that Brom has stabilized and is taking some potion to get back in action, Constance charges towards the melee after Krysta.
If she can't reach melee but gets within dart range, she'll hurl one of her needle-like projectiles at the closest foe.
Will roll the dice, but probably can't link it on my phone.

Whoops, somehow I forgot about Mokatah too--but I'll NPC him since I know what he's doing.
Re: Expedition - Bertram/Dwarven Ruins II - 19 April, 1 VC
Enemy Initiative [1d6] = 4
The hobgoblins see the charge coming, and one of them barks a command, sending the enemy team into motion. The hobgoblins surge forward, crashing into Krysta and Mokatah as they charge and forming an effective screen for the ranged attackers to continue their work. The gnolls, however, seem unable to adjust quickly enough and regain a bead on the more distant targets, and both arrows fly well wide of their marks.
Gnoll bowshots [1d20+1] = 7+1 = 8, [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3
The charge turns out to be a bit overly hasty and the two manage to get in one another's way as they both attempt to engage Mokatah at the same time. One trips and sprawls across the turf, able to hold on to his weapon but only barely.
Hobbo attacks [1d20] = 1, [1d20] = 8
The party counter-attacks, Ulf's accurate shot finding its home in the middle of one gnoll's chest. That leaves only one standing to continue the ranged assault. Constance's sling stone flies well wide as she leaves Seadu prone by the tree, and advances alongside Bertram. Abi has the same ill luck in trying to bring down the last of the gnolls with her sling. Krysta's powerful mace attack is half-deflected by the hobgoblin's shield and inflicts only minor damage. Mokatah takes advantage of the other hobgoblin being out of the fight to circle around the one standing and land another blow with his hand axe, gouging across the creature's buttock. It cries out in pain, but it is still standing.
Mokatah [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16, [1d6+1] = 2+1 = 3
Back among the wounded, Martin begins his advance toward the enemy, while Galen pours Bromric's flask of healing brew into his gasping mouth. The dwarf sucks at it greedily, his eyes wide and wild, and seems ready to return to the battle next round.
As the tide of battle turns against the enemy, they look prepared to break and run.
Gnoll 2: 6, blind, asleep
Gnoll 4: 12
Hobbo 1: 5 (prone)
Hobbo 2: 6

Sorry about not posting, it appears that the internet just really likes to eat my posts I shall double check from now on
Mokatah will let loose with another war scream, whether he is trying to pull attention away from his comrades or cause terror in the ranks even he doesn't know "AAAEEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIE"
He will swing his axe at the Hobgoblin he has already wounded, hoping to add another notch to his axe [1d20+1] = 9+1 = 10 if he hits he deals [1d6] = 3 damage+1(str bonus)=4 damage

Ulf continues to move forward, switching from his bow to the dwarven thunder hammer.* He gives the hammer a good heft and hurls it at the lone gnoll that remains standing.
Initiative: [1d6] = 3
Thunder Hammer! (THAC0 19): [1d20+3] = 20+3 = 23 [1d4+2] = 1+2 = 3 + elec. dmg
*By my estimates, Ulf should be about 20' from the gnolls at the end of his movement this turn. If not, please convert this to another bow shot.
Would the max damage option apply to both the base damage and electrical bonus damage?

Potion still dribbling from his lips, Bromric leaps to his feet, pushing away from Martin. He is heedless of the gaping wound still knitting itself together on his chest, or the blood already spilled in torrents down his under-tunic. He brandishes the black blade of his sword over his head and charges the melee, letting out a scream of indescribable rage and anguish that chills the blood. The coiled dragon glints on his shield as he charges through the harsh sun, rushing without heed straight into the still-standing hobgoblin, then plunging the sword down in a vicious strike, straight through the creature's armor and breastbone with all his strength to make sure its serrated metal lodges in its heart.
Charge! [1d20+4] = 19+4 = 23, damage [1d8+4] = 4+4 = 8
