Shorty is out of surgery. The surgeon said they did real well. They're in recovery now.

Yeah, the doctor said Shorty did very well... If they do it with cameras, the procedure is only about 30 minute with about 30 minutes of recovery... And make it a day surgery. If they could not have seen with the cameras, that would raise the time to 1-2 hours surgery Another hour in recovery, and 2-5 days in the hospital.

So, I was very glad the cameras worked.

I had a friend who needed his gall bladder removed ten years ago or so and they had to go in the old fashioned way. He still recovered fine, but he wasn't home in an hour.

Well, an hour for the surgery. We where there 5-6 hours total, I think with getting registered, triaged, seen by a doctor, tests done, etc to find out what it was first. Still, I was impressed with our little hospital today.

El Cid has his hobby skill as 20th century tv and film. So I didn't think our kind and generous (who am I kidding?) GM would mind letting Cid spout off a little knowledge without a roll. But as it is 20th century TV and Film, he wouldn't have any details on the more recent Battlestar Galactica from 2004.

Why?

I already said that nothing is going to happen until right before you get in range of the hurricane. And I don't want to post that until you two finish your talk and Revs and Basil finish theirs.

Nothing will happen for the next 3.5 hours. That's what I said earlier and is why I let people with Stun rest and roll to recover boxes.

But i will put an official nothing happens in the in character text.
