Re: Word on the Streets: OOC Chatter pt 2
I decided to change the spell Ynadin used from detect magic to detect invisibility.... I don't feel like trying to argue or look up how detect magic can or cannot work on invisible creatures even if they are not naturally able to go invisible...

Re: Word on the Streets: OOC Chatter pt 2
Thanks for the heads-up Chris. It's cool if need be I'll NPC Abrex. Enjoy the ride
On another note things are odd at work right now so I haven't made a post and I've been informed changes are coming where all websites not work related are going to get blocked so not sure how much longer I'll even be able to post from work. Been busy haven't posted an update to the game but I plan to if everyone is done posting actions and so forth.

I'll be on the road for work today so less likely to post an update until after work.

GW - I assume we should wait til you post in the xp folder our totals before adding? Don't think we'll be leveling here (Asad surely won't), but just asking so I don't forget to add it.We can pick things back up in Adventure #4 again when you are ready to. Any questions before Talv can be posted here and I'll reply from the Hermit. The group earns 6,000 xp for rescuing the hermit before he would have starved to death.

That XP is 6,000 each so you can add that I just need to toss it in the tracking topic/thread. Other than that i have to add in the xp for defeating 1 werehyena and bonus xp for sparing the other 3. Or for whatever goofy reasonravenn4544 wrote:GW - I assume we should wait til you post in the xp folder our totals before adding? Alright so only thing missing is bonus XP but if you see here all XP is listed for adventure 5 along with loot. You found lots of human and goat bones in all 3 werehyena caves so you suspect that is what happened to everyone else sent to see the hermit before you all went.

I forget why I have Asad as needing 18,00 for next level. Is that right (exp as a ranger) or should it be as a fighter (16,000)?

If you guys are all set in Adventure 5 I will lock the topic if not keep posting. Otherwise start posting in Chapter 4 Adventure 4 part 2.

Re: Word on the Streets: OOC Chatter pt 2
I'm all set from adventure 5.
Loot. 537 + 272 =809 gp. Divided by 8 players is 101 GP with 1 gp left over.
Items not claimed that I know of are
1 x garnet
1 x gold ring (radiated magic when detect magic was cast)
1 x pair of pearl earrings
1 x short sword (no scabbard) radiated magic when detect magic was cast
1 x small tarnished silver box, containing 2 ioun stones: dull gray prism (suspected burned out) and a clear spindle (sustains person without food or water per Mahara's description to Jamal) radiated magic when detect magic was cast
Abrex doesn't need anything but if no one claims this stuff he will hold onto it in his backpack. He took his share of gold.

Re: Word on the Streets: OOC Chatter pt 2
I vote we sell the garnet and earrings, unless someone wants to keep them. Benham would like the ring, which felt like it would make it a bit harder for foes to hit him, but he's open to one of the more combat oriented among the group getting it if they feel they have more need of it. I believe the stones were Mahara's, but Benham is fine with not giving them back to him, and sees no reason why the prisoner who we rescued should get a cut of the gold, but he is fine with a "party share" being set aside.

Mahara is a simple man he wont take money he has all he needs his simple clothing and his staff aside from that he has no other material possessions. Though he might like his stones back.

Re: Word on the Streets: OOC Chatter pt 2
Sorry I haven't been my "typical self" the last week had some news that my grandmother passed away on the 12th (via text message @ 6am) my head hasn't entirely been right but she was 96 and lived a good long life. So at any rate that is my explaining my lack of posting enthusiasm as of late.
