Fulp holds a rock in one hand and his trusty walking stick in the other. As various injuries occur and heal, he wonders how others dont need to rely on a similar device to move about.

He moves on, in line.

edit to add---
Did Sparrow take all the arrows in the armor box? if not... Before moving south, Fulp quickly destroys the remaining arrows.

There were several dozen arrows in the box (52, if anyone wanted to spend the time to count them individually), so Sparrow (and whomever else) can take however many arrows as they want and the remainders will be destroyed.

If you did take any arrows, please update your character sheet with the quantity taken. Thanks.

Leliana followed the others. Remaining silent until now, she was thinking on how she got here and why she was now traveling with a bunch of strangers. She still didn't know all their names, but they helped her when she was in trouble and seemed to be ok with her being there. She hadn't had this before. She didn't think she ever would.

Ciar leads the party down the southeast passage, leading the group to where he last encountered the trap. Whispering just loud enough for Ciar to hear, Sylvan calls to the halfling. "Not to doubt your skills, but I have a dweomer for this very situation." The young druid chants pulls a small oak twig and pinch of mistletoe from his many pouches. "nochtann tú féin a cleasanna díobhálach" he begins chanting as he winds the mistletoe around the oak twig. "Let's move quickly, Ciar. I'll call out when we reach danger."

That danger comes just north of a small alcove in the southern half of the passageway (9s). The alcove is strewn with small limestone boulders and debris, but is completely blocked off from the passageway by the pit trap. The druid is confident that the pit does allow for safe passage around the trapped area, however.

Continuing around the pit, with Ciar in the lead, the passage opens into an odd-shaped chamber. A mound of what appears to be rotten vegetables, fruit, and excrement sits heaped in the middle of the room. A bulging leather sack rests atop the mound of garbage. Another cut out area or alcove lies off to the groups left of the entrance, and there appears to be a 5-foot narrow passage leading south out of this new cavernous area.

Sparrow also moves into the room to let the others pass by, checking over the first little alcove to the left. 3

He fires one arrow into the center of the mound of garbage before anyone gets too close to it. Just in case it is something alive.

Ciar observes the mound of garbage to determine how high it is and how wide it is and whether or not the bag would be reachable with a 10' pole (if anyone has such an item handy)...

Ciar and Sparrow enter the room first, with the latter sending an arrow into the pile of waste that had accumulated in the room. There is no reaction from the pile except for the disruption of some of the items in the arrows' path. The pile itself is more wide than tall, with a diameter stretching out approximately 8-feet, and a height of only half that.

The inspection of the waste pile is at least momentarily halted as, in the northern alcove is discovered a single forlorn kobold; her arms, legs, and snout tightly bound with rope, and her body lashed to iron spikes driven into the cave wall. She wiggles and squirms to the best of her ability once she spots the party entering the room, and they spy her.

Sparrow whispers to Sylvan.

That ones not going anywhere anytime soon. Perhaps it would be best to continue searching this area while your detection magic is still in effect?

We can come back to free the bound individual or let one of the others behind us do it.

Unless he wants to go rushing ahead, Sylvan's spell will expire in this room, but he is able to tell that there are not any other traps or snares to be concerned with in this new chamber.

"Good idea" whispers Sylvan. If Sparrow follows, he will cast his magic sight over the trash heap then head south down the corridor, stopping if anything seems amiss. "We'll be right back" whispers the Druid.

Fulp asks,
Shall we release her? I suppose it is like an enemy of our enemy is our friend type of thing?
He looks nearer the hostage to see how one might safely reach her and cut the cords.

Ciar cautions against releasing her at the moment. He does not drop his guard at all.

"Looks more like a sacrifice than a prisoner," he whispers, eyeing the large pile of debris in the middle of the room.

Ciar shrugs, "Dunno. Just don't seem like they'd keep another prisoner like that for no good reason."

Ciar makes a circuit around the room while waiting for the others to return, looking out for blood trails and other exits from the room.

Sorry, I somehow missed this post.

"I detect nothing dangerous in here" announces Sylvan. "Shall we question this wretch? I do not speak her tongue, but perhaps she knows the vulgar orcish tongue or the contemptible goblin speech."

Sparrow, with his everlit torch, accompanies Sylvan a short distance down the southern exit while the druid using his magics to determine if the passage is safe. It is. And it continues east about 20-feet before angling northeast. Not wanting to get too separated from the rest of the group, the pair do not wander further.

Ciar makes a circuit around the room while waiting for the others to return, looking out for blood trails and other exits from the room, but there are no splotches of blood in the room, expect possibly by the bound kobold, which continues to writhe in its binds. The halfling also determines that the only other exit in the room is the southern passage that Sparrow and Sylvan briefly ventured into.

The group debates whether to release the restrained kobold, but does not immediately do so.
