Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
Updated map and actions upcoming, clearing a map thing with GM!
Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
Apologies to all - in the 'goblinoids' room', there are only double doors on the northern wall (leading to burnt undead hall) and on the western wall, not the eastern as I have been saying for a while. My mistake. Will try to correct backwards in posts - hope this hasn't caused any headaches
Thanks for mapmaker Sastaz to point this out.

Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
Thorelf suddenly drops all the weapons he already picked up in a big pile, only keeping his own long sword (and his torch).
He halts in the doorway and turns to Eaton, seemingly somewhat stressed.
"What was that about illusions? Where?"

For the record, the map Sastaz' just posted is correct as regards doors & directions.

Korin grumbles then says "Meh! I'll just keep this sword an tha mace till we find a good axe. Hows bout we go an check tha open door up there eh?" the dwarf indicates the open door down the passage from the goblin room.

Thorelf stares at the ceiling, eyes wide open, for a while. After that he subtly shakes his head and tip walks after Tiny towards the open door. Sword and torch still in hand, lighting the way.

Eaton
This door seems to leadin the direction to to the unholy balded cultist. Great choice to go there.
Did you see how well it worked out when I broke the morale of the goblins?
Eaton follows the others.

Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
Just to avoid any more compass goofs on my part - please clarify which of the door openings everyone is now going through. "Northern" or "western".- Thanks

The northern door that appears open on the map.

Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
Sorry I managed even to goof the question which was meant to avoid goofs. What I wondered was: as I am under the impression that everyone is currently in the process of leaving the goblin room, please clarify which of the door openings you are leaving through. Are you exiting the goblin room through the 'north' doors to walk back into the burned zombie hall, or through the 'western' doors to continue down a passage so far only partly explored by Thorelf.
Thanks again
Thanks again
Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
It is the western door.

Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
yes as you look at the map image above it is that door in the hallway to the left of the goblin room.

Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
(If I understand correctly - see annotated map - then;) all four adventurers are standing in a 10' wide passage, 40' long, turning left ('south') at the 'western' end. If you are all facing 'west', then on the right ('northern') wall 30' down from the goblinoids' room, a door stands ajar.
The air is still. There is a stale, fetid smell.

Re: Chapter 02: Aquifers & anaglyphs
I guess Tiny will walk up to the door.
Thorelf will stay somewhere where the rightmost dot is, to see if Tiny runs into any opposition.
