UE Issue #1: Introductions
Re: UE Issue #1: Introductions
Eclipse asks the trapped sniper which of the three options to free him he prefers.

Eclipse
"Hold still, and close your eyes"
Energy blast:
Attack: [_3d6]=(4+3+6)=13
11+7+1-13=DCV 6-
Damage: [_10d6]=(3+3+1+5+2+1+1+1+4+3)=24 STUN, 6 body

obviously being careful not to hurt the guy

Re: UE Issue #1: Introductions
The Entangle is damaged slightly.
The Entangle is 5 DEF and 5 BODY - So with a roll of 6 BODY, you reduced it to 5 DEF and 4 BODY.
Your to hit roll basically has you shooting around the edges, but the worst case will be the extra damage that get through will be targeted against the agents defenses.

"Hold on, I'm getting there, one more should do it" ... I hope he adds to himself
Attack: [_3d6]=(1+2+3)=6
11+8-6=DVC 13-
Damage: [_10d6]=(3+2+2+4+6+4+2+6+5+1)=35 STUN, 11 BODY

Re: UE Issue #1: Introductions
The Entangle is destroyed and the agent is free and uninjured. "Thank you, I was getting a little claustrophobic in there!"
If your to hit roll had been bad (it was not it was very good)
Counting out the 9 BODY to be absorbed by the Entangle
[_10d6]=(3+2+2+4+6+4+2 = 8 BODY, which leaves one BODY remaining and then the 6 is basically split into two 3's the first destroys the Entangle and then the remaining 3+5+1, means that the agent would have taken a 9 STUN, 2 BODY attack. If this agent would have just been a normal they would have a 2 ED which would mean 7 STUN and 0 BODY worth of damage.

Eclipse glances towards the alleyway and then back to the sniper
"Did you see how they arrived? Did they come up through the sewers?"

Re: UE Issue #1: Introductions
The sniper tells Eclipse "I did not see them until they 'appeared' at the edge of the building and even that point was an obstructed view."
Eclipse please make an INT roll.

"No, but in the hours leading up to the meeting it was swept several times. There is no way to sewer grate was open."
No additional information from the failed INT roll

Wind Dragon
"They for sure used Teleport to get to the roof (the last leg so to speak), and I have to assume that they used teleport to get the aides off the roof. That would not explain how the cover is off the sewer however. My question is when they had a chance to kidnap the VP and the PM of Canada and they took two aides. Was this their goal or a critical failure!"

Eclipse
"Before it all started, I heard a rumbling and went outside towards the alley. I saw the glow of the red and yellow one before she transported them up to the roof. Let's take a look that sewer cover, maybe Earthquake Fist did something to it. Gossamer Storm said the aides were now in another country. If she can transport them that far then why did they need to get so close to the building to get to the roof? Maybe she needs to be familiar with the destination, or maybe they lied about them being that far away"
Eclipse will head to the alley and look at the sewer entrance.

Re: UE Issue #1: Introductions
The sewer cover (and correctly I should be saying manhole cover) was bolted down by the Secret Service. The manhole cover was forced open from the inside. It will not close cleanly in its current state.

While in the alleyway, Eclipse looks over to Sawada coffee for any signs of activity.

Re: UE Issue #1: Introductions
As mentioned, Sawada Coffee is a second floor space. From your location in the alley there is no evidence of activity of any kind. You are always welcome to move closer for a better view.

Eclipse
I'm assuming by now that our presence here has been noticed by the general public
Eclipse will fly vertically up to approximately 2nd story height and fly over to the coffee shop and peer in the windows. He will move reasonably slowly so as to not surprise or distract any drivers or pedestrians too much.

Re: UE Issue #1: Introductions
Yes and no. It is after 8 PM on a Tuesday night. The combat took less than 12 seconds and was all on the top of a six story building. The thing that has started to gather the crowd is the multiple limos that pulled up front and then the milling around glowing and flying about.
Looking into the windows of the coffee shop you cannot see any evidence that anyone has been inside in the past few hours.
