Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
If I can get to the staff, I will certainly try to use it. Depends on if something hits Balasar this round or not he is down to 2 HP.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
you guys can't see my end but things are incredibly close between the two groups, winning init there helped a lot because it ruined the mages spell. This could literally come down to an initiative roll since that could determine if people falling on one side or another get their attack and despite a few of my rolls only needing to be 13 or better i rolled single digits that round.
this is the closest battles i have ever had pbp

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
so since the cultist that Balasar attacked didn't die he wanted to get to that staff of MM that was mentioned but doesn't want to take a chance of being attacked twice, so i posted attacking the cultist while trying to get to the staff, is that even really possible?

Is it just me, or does it seem that Allan has started to get his Monk Groove on?

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
Monk on man someone has to take over with hitting things since Balasar who was hitting fairly well lately is now down. Also if anyone wants to grab the sword and use it go for it.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
well he missed every attack for so long now that he is hitting it seems incredible. The monk saving throw avoiding damage thing saved his butt though.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
I am quite happy to have a roll above a 3 finally
. it's been a while.
I keep having to review what monks can do as they have some cool abilities if they survive - that save for no damage is a life saver. literally!

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
If anyone can get to it safely, and if pouring it down his throat doesn't drown him, Phil has his potion of extra healing in his belt pouch.
I was SO hoping the puppy wouldn't do max damage...

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
drinking the potion and grabbing the spear on the way to the fight takes your action this roundIf Phil can still strike after all that, he will, but I think that may be a full round in itself.

it's a miracle we all survived it.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
everyone but ruthgar is in single digits and 4 of you hit 0 at one point.
a few rolls here or there would have changed the outcome. it was close
