I am not sure if you qualify this as rock, but I have been listening to Patty for several years. Not quite an accordion but close.

I wasn’t aware of the hurdy gurdy instrument, how novel. There were some related links to girl rocker bagpipers. Who knew! There are probably some great jokes about female bagpipers.

I follow a bunch of girl bagpipers but I am half Scottish so that is probably why. :lorcl:

Just letting you know that this is the first week of school as well as the first week of my Internship for my Masters (Should finally graduate in December!) My workload is unbelievable at the moment, and I am going to need to take about a week off to get things sorted.

My professor claims that if we can make it through the next 2 weeks, we have it made in this internship... So I will still be slow posting until at least that time. Thanks for being patient.

Nice, Bluehorse! The final stretch and that's it!

For anyone who didn't get the post for Janx and "Night Gallery," it was a 1970s TV show by Rod Serling, who created, produced, and wrote a lot of stories for his "The Twilight Zone" series. Where The Twilight Zone was kind of sci-fi and was often about paradoxes and surprise ending, Night Gallery was all weird horror. Especially weird psychological horror. Really good, I think, and highly recommended if you like that kind of horror storytelling kind of thing.

I remember that show (in repeats)! They did a Lovecraft adaptation; I forget which story.

There was one where Carl Reiner was a classroom professor saying that Lovecraft's work was all hogwash. He started reading all of the names of Those Whose Names Shall Not Be Spoken and gradually turned into :SAN:

And............. I just turned it all in... Good lord I hope that professor is right and that is as hard as it gets. My mind feels like mush.

I am actually taking tomorrow off work just to catch up on work. Maybe I will be able to get my brain working again and make a post tomorrow.

Thanks for being patient with me!
