"Well, we'll definitely take a look at this Lighthouse you talked about" - Thurm replied - "But we are also interested on what is going on with the quarry - I hear master Trell is the person to speak to on those matters?"hedgeknight wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 2:00 pmThen Thurm gets right to the point.
"We are here to investigate, so I am ready to investigate" - the dwarf nodded - "Would that 'room and board' include a keg of ale to the table to seal the deal, by any chance?" - he grinned at Brantas.
Brantas returns the grin and a chuckle along with it. "I'm sure I can...persuade Bleermos to part with a keg."
"I heard dat!" Carp hollers as he wipes down his bar.
Brantas chuckles again and says, "Where would you like your begin your investigation, my ale-loving friend?"

At Brantas' question, Ari finally speaks up, "I would never miss a chance for an adventure to inspire my songs. So yes I will be going," she beams a smile at the man.

Grumble's mind is quickly made up. If his kin are heading towards danger then he will be there.
I'm ready to check things out he croaks out after a decent ale burp.
Head out in the morning after a nights rest? he asks alound.

That would be my next question as wellComputer +1 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 6:24 pm Head out in the morning after a nights rest? he asks alound.

Are you going to go to your rooms at the Alliance Arms and go to the quarry in the morning, or head over there now?

My vote is to rest at the Alliance Arms, and head there in the morning.

Re: Winter is Coming...to Port Llast
The consensus is to begin in the morning, and Brantas is fine with that; he has little choice anyway, right? So, you pay your tabs (a few gold pieces) and gather your gear. "The Alliance Arms is just across the road. Biggest building in town, ya can't miss it." Bleermos says. "Come on back tonight if ya get thirsty! Har!"
I've posted a new thread - Port Llast - The Alliance Arms.
I'm assuming all of you are going. If not, and you wish to stay here, that's cool. Just let me know.
