And hopefully still is!

Moriartus is also in. He's actually the one who organized everything

I will roleplay a downtime visit to the chapel as we have some Sauron clerical works they might help decipher.

Being resident at the tavern for that time, he probably catches all the ooc public tavern gossip and character interaction as a silent listener to what is shared.
Just thinking out aloud here.

Vann Hector, Sir Dewey, Cosmo return to the inn on May 14th. I have reconciled two weeks stay. During that time I stay in the tavern. So I would if spoken to, share our experiences of dealing with the Saurons, killing a Nergal knight and meeting with a harpy too.

Each of those possibly impact upon current plot-hooks. Can the Sauron literature we found be usefull? The capture of the Soothsayer (May 19th?) is interesting since I went to look for Old Basil the ranger who got skinned. I would certainly stick around to see how the trial works out. (Perhaps even help interrogate the creature! Get him to confess and talk about the rituals in the mound).

If any of the guys going to Ironguard might prefer a delve in the Barrow Mounds (back to the Sauron Mound/Black Legion Mound) or locate the harpy lair/another barrow maze entrance? I would be up for that.

Talk to me in the tavern thread.

Moriartus will be organizing an expedition to eradicate the harpy nest when he returns from Ironguard. It's certainly something Vann Hetor could learn from gossip and rumor, else definitely from Guildmaster Osen.

Once I am off holiday I can look into this a bit further.

Sven has some plans that very well could fit nicely into some of these scenarios as well.

Sure. I have been fine with a RL slow down and some in-character downtime. Potentially, new plot hooks might open up with a conclusion to the Soothsayer issue. Wether he hangs or Lord Krothos gets convinced to spare him for another reason (though I don't expect that).

I will probably post some Bulletin Board notice with my character intentions so any player character wanting to enroll his services can approach him in the tavern thread.

The very least would be recruiting myself, getting a couple of mercenary guides and just exploring the Barrow Mounds again.

As an aside, I am fine with waiting a couple of weeks real time while players conclude their own downtime and selling stuff so I have no rush for Vann Hector to go and do stuff.

A new expedition?

Just chatting ooc, but I can see that in a few days time, Sven & Moriartus go to Ironguard which means if an immediate return to the Sauron Mound is in order, it is most likely going to take place when they return or in their absence.

With that in mind, if Krothos designates (or more likely orders ) a new trip to go beyond the Bronze door and face the Nergal Knight, then that might happen with Vann Hector and any willing participants who are around at the time. (Sir Dewey, Cosmo, any new players, maybe if Leibish & Sigrid return to Helix we can co opt them when their trip concludes?)

If it's possible to restrain the knight as it is long enough for Sven and Co. to return again, I would be up for being on the team that goes in to try to eliminate the threat.

Golgarth and Gunter as player characters are only on day May 20th. We met the Soothsayer en route to Bogtown! So technically we could return to Helix should our Bogtown venture conclude before you leave town.

It would be good for Golgarth as he never got to the Sauron Mound before the Bogdweller gnawed him to pieces. So that kind of finishes the task of what he started originally.

Moriartus is keen on hunting the harpy, but I expect he would learn in due course Vann Hector's encounter with it. He would be willing to join an expedition back to the Nergal knight's barrow in exchange for help with the harpy, whose nest is likely not far from that mound.
