At this distance, scale is hard to judge. But its shape is closer to a building than a monolith.

Urson: Hothhil speaks orcish, so he should be able to understand what Pyotr is saying. But I have no idea where you're getting your translations from. Google detects it as Russian but then doesn't offer any translations. Are you willing to divulge your source of orc?

I've just been using Google Translate. I don't know why it wouldn't be translated back to English, tho. Sometimes I post the Cyrillic characters, and other times the phonetic spellings. Maybe that's the problem.

Are we certain the trees are moving autonomously? Just want to be certain there's not an invisible giant walking by is all. :D
Also, are all the trees seemingly alive, or just the ones we happen to climb?
Lastly, is there a non-moving, unalive, tree within jumping distance of where Rudolph is at? :D

Last questions. I'm assuming Rudolph isn't too high up in the tree, but wanted to double check as it isn't noted.
Also, the party isn't that far away, correct? We can see what's going on?

A 1 when throwing burning oil... Ouch.

Can Hothhil smash a flask of oil and then ignite it? What sort of roll for she need if he's sitting on the ent?

Edit: also, conventional wisdom would donate that, if we are in the mountains, we would find our way out of we just run down hill... Thoughts?

Hey rredmond,

The trees that Rudolf and Hothhil are in are moving autonomously. At least one other seems to be as well. They are among the largest trees here, which is why Rudolf and Hothhil chose to climb them.
There isn't a tree close enough for Rudolf to jump to.
Rudolf and Hothhil are as high as they would have climbed to protect themselves from wolves and keep watch. I'll allow you two to determine that height. There are branches as low as 5' high, so that would be the minimum height.
The watchers can see what's happening at the altar. Scale is one square = ten feet. Visibility is a maximum of 40 feet in the fog.
I hope that helps. :)

Hey Rusty,
Yes, you can smash the oil first. Please roll 1d20 to hit with the oil. Then next round, you can roll to ignite it.
You had a typo, but if you were saying you'd do this while trying to remain standing on the branch of the living tree, you'll suffer negatives to your rolls, fyi.
Rusty Tincanne wrote:also, conventional wisdom would donate that, if we are in the mountains, we would find our way out of we just run down hill... Thoughts?
Well, it's a mountain range, so if you head downhill you could also end up in a valley/gully between two or more mountains. :)
I hope that makes sense.
