Gross' handwriting is not very good, so at a first glance Zack could only see something about guard schedules for the following days, but this might just be a draft. There are also calculations scribbled all over the sheet. Calculus is probably not the Security Overseer's strong suit, because numbers and formula are crossed out and wrote up again with slight changes many times. Most Vault Dwellers use computers to do math, but maybe Gross isn't handy with computers either? Zack needs some time (and a Science roll) if he wants to figure out what it's all about.

Roman follows Zack into the back room. He takes the box, takes a peek inside, closes it, and nods to Zack.
"You're good, man. Respect."
He places it in his pocket and taps on it.
"Anything you need?"
Roman didn't specify Zack's reward, but he made it obvious that he can ask for something equal in value or danger. Zack isn't sure about the extent of Roman's "power" (he certainly couldn't go inside Gross' office), but he knows that the kitchen assistant sometimes has access to surprising and rare items. He also has information. Of course, the payment can be a favor to be asked in the future.
He clearly has no clue what any of it means.
