Sorry, stupid question, but I can't seem to find a list of available languages.

I had posted about it in the Interest thread but forgot to copy it over here. It's in the History of Argosa thread now.

Argosan is the setting's equivalent of Common.

If you are a Dwarf, we'll assume you know both Dwarvish and Argosan.

Okay, I should be good. I assumed that, like in BX, racial languages are a freebie, so speak Argosan, Dwarven, and Goblin. I haven't done any shopping yet, since I want to see hooks before making a decision.

What do you mean by hooks? Like adventure hooks?

There is very little about languages in the ToA ruleset so far (although talk on the Discord is that v6 will be released as soon as this weekend). Going back to the original LFG ruleset, PCs know how to speak their "native" language plus common. Common = Argosan in my game so you only get an extra "base" language if you're non-human or you were born somewhere besides Port Brax, Crow's Keep, or Northgate (the three Midlander cities).

Galley Slave grants you +1 Will so adjust to 18. Also add the Watercraft skill and a Fishing Rod to your Gear.

Rerolls are 1 since you are not Human.

Death save is 10 + 3 (Will mod) + 2 (racial mod) = 15

It doesn't really matter because you can choose but, to ensure no doubt if I am forced to puppet you, you should make your Unarmed attack your Primary one, and the Staff should be secondary.

HP are only 16; you don't add the CON bonus to the total.

AC is 14 when you include the armor and shield bonuses.

You already got Detection as a skill from your background so feel free to roll one more.

Add your Longsword to Gear.

Things like Religion and Spells, if they don't apply to your PC, feel free to delete from the character sheet.

Rolled three times in case of duplicates:
Skill: [1d12]=12 [1d12]=4 [1d12]=8
Which is a good thing as I previously rolled the 12 -> Wilderness Lore

Baldwin should be ready now after I made the corrections.

Shaidar, let me know which Attribute you're increasing with your Human bonus (can't be INT or LUCK but can be any of the others).

I rolled a 31 on your Background so you once were a Bone Grubber. +1 PERC, the Detection skill, and you can add a Sack of Broken Glass to your Gear. : 1d66 31

Your skills are: Arcane Lore and Apothecary plus Gather Info, Stealth, and Watercraft. : 3#1d10 8 9 5

Your spells are: Whispers of the Watchers, Undead Servant, and Mend Flesh. Between your Background and your spells, I'm seeing a guy who isn't necessarily a Necromancer but someone comfortable with death and dying. : 3#1d100 96 94 57

Thanks, that's certainly an interesting spell list. :)

I guess he found his spells amongst the junk he finds (assuming I've got this right and a bonegrubber is another name for a rag-and-bone man.

I think it makes sense that he was childhood friends with Baldwin.

We need to get you in the game right away as Baldwin has some flesh that needs mending, for sure!

The way I interpret the equipment rules is that you can fill your initial slots "for free" and then you can buy other things with the 10 sp.

The authors of the game are Australian, I believe, so their slang for things like Bone Grubber may be different from what we know.
