Will give Tell and Rex today to post.
Right now, I have Ambergris, Tommy and Lesh planning to go toward the Upper City in search of the cultists. Right?
Yarl and Telurion, only a few feet away from the trio, begin looking for Trueshot.

Unless I'm mistaken (which is entirely possible in this game!), casting spells underwater is pretty much impossible without some type of magical assistance.
Tommy's action:
casts eldritch blast
Components: V, S
The verbal component would be garbled underwater and thus not work...correct?
And...has anyone seen Spearmint?

yes, tommy is using suble spell which allows him to cast without verbal or somatic component, usually he uses this to cast with out people noticing he's casting but this is a good use as well

uses the subtle spell sorcerer ability to eliminate the need of verbal components

Here's the description from the book:
The oldest temple in Baldur's Gate, the Water Queen's House clings to its enormous pier like a monster of the deep, its stone walls trailing over the side and descending down beneath the waves and river mud. At the pier's tip, a huge fountain in the shape of a sinking ship sprays water high, reminding the faithful of the price of failing to appease Umberlee.
...the rest of the tithes are carried in solemn procession down crumbling, moss-covered stairs that cling to the outside of the temple and descend into the murky water.

Damn hedgeknight, loved that closing scene

Even though I was only shortly in it, thanks a lot for running the game.
If you ever decide to return to Baldur's Gate, drop me a line.
See you around!
