Yeah, I didn't get notifications either, which is funny since I'm running the game. Facts of life, I guess. I'm expecting a fun character from you, so get cracking!

Started a little early. Next DM action post will be Thursday, 11 Nov. Will answer questions as they come in, but the DM action happens Mondays and Thursdays.

IMPORTANT NOTE

When I tell you what rolls to make I will include obvious relevant modifiers. However, that does not preclude you from coming up with an interesting solution on your own. Here's how it works in the game:

Method 1 You come up with a solution and explain it In Character, in one hundred or more words. You get a +1 on your roll.

Method 2 You really really want a roll to succeed. Explain it In Character, three hundred words or more, and the roll succeeds.

Note that you can exercise either method *after* the roll, and the word count can include most any decent story concept. It does not have to be your character explaining everything in detail.

Nice! I'll integrate that into the response.

I missed some questions because I posted when tired. If I miss stuff, feel free to ask. I try to not make the NPC interations overly subtle because PbP doesn't do that well and we're coming from vastly different backgrounds. If someone is trying to frustrate you I'll do my best to make it perfectly clear.

The current IC post is a significant re-write. Give it a re-read if you've already gone over it once.

Adding to the above, if I don't give you information or details that you need, please speak up. Your characters are in a position where they are competent, even though the ship is a bit non-standard. The PCs would know most of what they need.

All, I let the days get away from me; I was supposed to post yesterday. It will take me a little bit, but I should have something up before this time tomorrow.
