Well, we've established Ingrid doesn't have any of those! It would work on the top of a staff if the owner wanted to cover it with a pouch or something when they didn't want the light. Maybe inside a lantern that could be shuttered to block all light, or a torch (or a similar length piece of metal or wood) that could be put into a backpack when not in use. I've thought about putting it on the front of a shield that could have a flap that can be draped over the front or back, depending on situations.

Pebbles are nice because you can easily carry one (even inside a lantern if you want) and then drop it on the ground if you need to free up a hand, and if you have to leave it behind you're not out anything beyond the casting of the spell.

Love the Ajax reference! I used the same inspiration for these unicorn warriors I did for a board game back in 2016 (approximately one million years ago).

Sorry, I've always ruled that a successful Pick Pockets roll works against all eyes. Plus Faron was busy leading the way at the time. And there was the dense crush of bodies.
