She is good with that plan. Roscoe has some good construction robots and can help with plans.Tiglath wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 8:48 pmGarvin will talk to Aster about homesteading on Terra II... in a castle (in Bavaria or the Tyrol or the edge of an Italian lake) somewhere near mountains he can (almost) fall off.terrymixon wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 6:45 pm Ciencia, Bianca, and Aster think visiting Collace and seeing that his happening would be helpful and are in. There are six habitable worlds in the pocket universe. Is anyone else setting up shop somewhere? Jaelah and Roscoe are homebuilding on Farm World and Metz is taking over part of the Ancient's house on Tech World. There are also the worlds designated as Water World, Jungle World, Desert World, and Terra II. If anyone wants a homestead, I need to know where and we can play out the search for the right spot.
A crossover has risks on your end. Do you really want this crew playing through?Tiglath wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 8:48 pm(OOC: FWIW/If at all helpful here's my brief notes on Collace (with a pic of a nice shiny new arcology) if they are of any help. viewtopic.php?t=9282#topterrymixon wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 6:45 pm Jaelah, I'll need you to give me a rundown on how you see the situation there. I need a grasp of the oppression to portray it correctly. From what I understand, the new arcologies go to those with money and influence and the old ones that are breaking down to the poor and downtrodden. Seems very Dredd to me. I need to know how overt you see SuSag being and what kind of obstacles you reasonably see coming your way.
I can expand this into a pen picture of this arcology if it's helpful and we want to risk(?) a same universe campaign crossover* but I can equally see the utility of starting with a blank canvas.

In my campaign the Collace Prime arcology is much more of a "Tower in the Ocean" (and in every sense very much a "MegaCity") where distance from the surface = social status and literal social climbing to attain life in the Spire is a thing. Of course those who live below the ocean's surface (and daylight) are not enjoying the best life at all! Indeed the definitive placement of Collace's super max "The Deeps" (canonical) in the arcology's foundation on the ocean bed underlines the norm where "altitude" equals social "achievement").
