Luc? Is that your name? What does all this mean? Is Marcel nearby?
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

The man you presume is named Luc just stares blankly ahead. Once every few minutes he mumbles the same verse

over and over again.

P.S the food is not booby trapped/poisoned etc. You can eat to your hearts content. The water is also fresh.

Luc will not eat unless someone feeds him.

Any other actions?

Sir, do you mind if we have some of this food and water? Thank you. Sylvar will sample some of the food and drink some water, refilling his skin as well.

Seeing as they're not getting anywhere, Tango descends back down to the raft.

Fendt will return to the raft as it appears the fellow in the house is too messed up by whatever horrors he has endured, is unresponsive to anyone trying to converse or interact with him.

You all descend the ladder. To your surprise, the young man follows you, like a faithful dog.

From the raft, smoke from a settlement or village perhaps, can be seen. It is not that far.

Finally departing the swamp, you dock at the village. The sky fills with rolling black clouds.

For the first time, lightning plays across the heavens.

The storm hangs over the village and swamp. Occasionally a bolt of lightning strikes the ground,

or a loud clap of thunder is let loose, shaking the air and ground.

You have approached the village of Marais D'Tarascon from the west. It is now the 5th day of your arrival.

That is how much time has passed since you arrived. I didn't play every day and night of your stay in

the swamp.

As you enter the village, the man walks behind whoever is last in the group.

You are free to walk around, interact etc.

A fence surrounds the Inn, which is a large, two-story building with an attached stable.

Inside you meet Jerald Bascolm and his wife. They graciously rent you rooms. You can

rest, bathe or change as you please.

Once settled in, you can have a nice meal in the dining room.

Tango nods as the proprietors introduce themselves. He looks at the food being served, his halfling mouth watering with anticipation...the smells of food cooking in the back enhancing such feelings. "I'll take a single room if you've got one. And a bath. But first, I think I can do with some refreshments." He says looking about the dining area. "I'd like a good hearty meal, please. Something with a mix of meat, fruits and vegetables. And mayhap some cheese and bread. And a cup of your best wine."

He pays the required coinage and secures a seat at a table where he can place his back against a wall and awaits his meal. In the mean time he watches the room and it's occupants. One of his favorite past times. While studying each one's securities, and listening in to conversations for anything he might find lucrative or interesting of note.
