Where the heck are we going to find 10 Cure Disease spells??? Or is there another way to get rid of lycanthropy?

Heh heh, I may take a peek in there too, quite often. Some HP totals are missing too...

I thought everyone had taken some damage from the wolves... plus there are rules like it has to be more than 1/2 damage or something, and it takes a while to set in (2 weeks?) before the changes occur. But I just figured "we aren't in Kansas anymore"... but the illusion piece is an interesting though...

I asked for responses to the post.

What are they thinking or trying to say, for example.
Actions won't be possible after the characters feel their minds subsumed by a dark and primal force. Except for wonderful evocative stuff like what Urson posted today.
And before then, they are in agony which will also hamper some actions.

Sorry, man. Every PC was bitten by wolves.
The fastest way to doublecheck is to compare PC hitpoints
just before the attack with PC hitpoints
right after the attack.
It's probably a mercy. A PC that doesn't transform right now will be eaten alive by 9 werewolves.

You're right. The fake-out dream sequence only works once. And I did it already in Lost City of the Pharaohs.

I don't know how much I will be able to post over the next week and a half. Saturday is my marathon game and Sunday will be catching up on sleep. Next week I'm busy with Gamehole Con Wednesday- Sunday and my normal game night is Tuesday. I'll try to post when I can, but can't guarantee anything. Feel free to NPC my character so I don't slow things down.

I've had my share of 'forced transformations' and berserks in other games- and often, the GM/DM is surprised when I go with it, rather than resisting. To me, it seems the more likely scenario.
My group in college had an unfortunate tendency to find cursed berserking swords, and it always bothered me when the character would react like George Jetson on the treadmill ("Jane! Stop this crazy thing!") I suppose part of it is that I came into RPG's after having done a little acting in high school. I had already been exposed to Stanislavsky and building the character from the inside out.

I figured everyone being a werewolf we were SoL and it was, essentially, a TPK.
But like I said, we ain't in Kansas, or rather Greyhawk anymore when you are playing an Inferno joint...

Hey. Everyone is welcome to read the "non-required reading" stuff. I just flag it as optional because I know I'm long-winded in the required reading.
Also, sometimes talk about mundane rules mechanics spoil the tone of mystery, horror and fantasy. So I leave it as non-required.
If I have a post with no public dice rolls to share, I drop that section, fyi.
