I don't mean to sound like a broken record but.....Can you all PLEASE limit your actions to about how much you could do in one round!!! It is tricky enough dealing with ten separate actions, I don't want to be constantly going back to do things. For example, searching the immediate area or looking through the nest at the same time that healing is being preformed is fine. At least everyone is in close proximity of each other. But, searching the nest and healing while others are entering the back door a few hundred feet away and on the other side of the house is a perfect example of doing way too much in one round.

I don't want to put a limit on how many times you can post in between my descriptions because that will take away from the roleplaying aspect. However, I also don't want to describe four rounds of results in my posts and then have to describe what you are seeing now while half of you are thinking about how to split up the treasure that you found ten minutes ago.

I hope that is easy enough to understand. Future violations will almost certainly result in violent deaths.

Ha ha, and you wrote Vhing was merciless.

Vhing saving throw / unmodified d20 roll = 5

Was there a finger still attached to the ring?

Proposed marching order:

Vhing
Alec
Jervis
Ermulf
Jónas
Danny
Keilif
Doubtful
Burly
Ben

Mind, I'm not good at marching orders... But also our characters aren't much specialized so far, and mostly everybody has close reach weapons.

Yes I do understand the frustration of big groups doing lots of things, independent or out of sequence. I am a big culprit I know. So in my head I reason the following is a practical solution if round by round action is followed.

For example, in one round:

Vhing could move 60ft or casually search a 10x10ft area
and take one action, such as drink a potion, uncoil a rope, climb a ladder, attack with melee or range weapon, cast a spell.

One move plus one action.

I'm good with this order if everyone else is.

No, not really.

If that order is good with everyone we can go.

The cup smashed and you are now all just sorta looking at each other. :D

Order, from the posts seem to be:

Vhing, Keiliff, Ermulf at the front so you should have a roll from one of those two.

We can always swap about anyway to give everyone a chance to set off a trap...

Keilif didn't enter the manor yet, but I guess he would be second in line behind Vhing according to posts. Here's D20 roll for Keilif if needed:

D20 Roll: [1d20] = 2

Hope I needed to roll low.

The marching order listed above has Alec behind Vhing...but whatever; don't guess it really matters.

I think the (x) by people's names in the marching order thread is the order in which people will die. Is everybody ok with this order?

As Vhing fades into unconsciousness he hears this bizarre whirring and rolling of 4d6's.

I'm lucky that charge worked. The last group I played in was very big on "the Rule of Cool." I forgot that this is a different game, and that O. M. might have a lower tolerance for that sort of nonsense.

Oh yeah, creative game play should always be positive, a dwarf 'bull rushing' into a barricade is par for the course as is letting in the sunlight to destroy vampire goblins :D

Oh, I was just thinking that with the most wisest and intelligent amongst the party being gifted with cantrips to aid us , (thankfully), so that those more athletically prowess and sneaky, perhaps they can have feat or skill stemming from their previous work that we all bring a boon to the party? For example Ben could navigate by starlight +x% due to his sailing duties, Vhing could hold his breath for d4 rounds longer due to running through smoke filled hallways, Alec might be able to forge a specific item, the knight gallants gifted with diplomacy and trade skills? Just a random thought...

Hey! Don't be using those blasphemous words like skills and traits in my 1E game.

Actually, I'm perfectly fine with your characters knowing how to do certain things like that. As long as it makes sense with your background, and it's nothing overly powerful, your character can most assuredly have relevant skills.
