Glogs' and Iomhar's volleys drop the orc on the right where he stands. The one on the left — the one who sniffed you out in the first place — is unscathed.

OOC: still need actions/rolls from Savik, Bran & Ulf to complete your half of the round.

This is Bran's action. He is completely out of range for throwing a hammer, so he won't even attempt it. He will advance into a better range and attempt to throw his hammer the next round.

Seeing everyone else unload on the Orcs, Ulf loads his sling and lets a bullet fly; he aims for the lone Orc still standing.
Sling attack: [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16, [1d4] = 4
Please adjust for range.

Would that put him in danger of getting hit by our arrows? ie, should we not fire anymore and move in with him?

Oh, well if everyone wants to just range the orcs until they are dead, Bran can twiddle his thumbs for a bit. :)

Seeing that there is no way to quickly or covertly move to their left without giving the orcs a chance to spot them, Savik makes ready with his short bow and prepares to fire. Seeing the one orc sentry drop, the elf targets the lone remaining pigman guard and lets fly...

To Hit: short bow [1d20+4] = 18+4 = 22, Damage vs sml/med creatures [1d6] = 1

To Hit: short bow [1d20+4] = 13+4 = 17, Damage vs sml/med creatures [1d6] = 2

OOC: sorry for the delay here QG and gang!

Great shots but shite damage!
:x

You're kind of at long-short/short-medium range for a sling, so you'll get a -1 penalty there. Still good enough to hit, though.
Shite damage, yes, but in tandem with Ulf, you take him down.

Good work, gentlemen. We'll pick up in the Chapter 3 thread. I'll post a combat recap here later.
