Martin
If it survived the Cube’s gelatinous digestive juices then these are items of quality… if not more.

Rex you keeping track of the treasure? Thank ya
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Hektor and Tulius

Both take a look at the chainmail, trying to evaluate its quality, since mail is better than the armors they are currently wearing.

Nothing in particular stands out about the chainmail, beyond its excellent condition. It does look large enough to fit either of them.

Tulius will try it on.

Because he has been doing 'frontline' duty - Chain is better than Scale, right?
To the rest of the group - let me know if you want the armor to be equipped by one of your characters :D
To archolewa - just so that it is clear, also for henchmen management purposes, this is group loot, temporarily held by Tulius (maybe). The group will decide who gets it 'definitively' once they are back in a safe place.

Yes.
Tulius removes his lamellar and replaces it with the chain. It seems to fit just fine, and nothing happens unpleasant or otherwise. He takes a moment to remove it, and finds himself capable of doing so. He nods in satisfaction, and puts it back on.

Tulius and Hektor

"Thank you Ingulfr" - the man nodded.

"Shall we continue exploring this way, and keep to our right in general then?" - Hektor added, nodding toward the direction the cube had come from.

The big GC was in the passage between the two rooms?

Agreed, says the MU, staying to the right seems a good way to move forward.

Torch: 55 minutes

The group makes their careful way through the room that once held the Gelatinous Cube. As is to be expected with such an occupant, the room is spotless, lacking even any sort of dust. They make their way through the short, narrow corridor at the far end of the room, and emerge into a rectangular square room. There is a door to their left, another door straight across, and an opening a little ways into the room and on their right.

But what really catches their attention are the walls of the room. Unlike most of the rest of what they have seen so far, this room is made of roughly hewn stone. The walls are embedded with either sculptures of human skeletons, or human skeletons with a skin of stone. A stony skeleton hand sticks out here. An arm gripping a sword there. The left side of one skeleton is embedded in the wall, with the other half sticking out into the room.

"Lets take a quick look around and then check the doors. Be wary of attack by these skeleton things."

He will look for anything of value on or held by the skeletons.

Hektor and Tulius

The paladin assists Ingulfr with the search, as Tulius goes to peek into the opening.

Martin holds the torch high, to help with the search. Iacchus aids in the searching.

Torch: 45 minutes

The sculptures and/or petrified skeletons do not appear to have anything of worth. Indeed, the only thing that isn't covered in stone is the sword held by the hand sticking out of the wall. However, the group would need a hammer and chisel to get it out of the stone fist, and the blade has a notch or two, suggesting that it is likely mundane.

Tulius peeks through the opening and sees a rectangular room, much like the one the group is currently in. He sees nothing of note, save that it has only the one entrance.

"Next door over?" - the paladin nods at Randall and Anker, so they can check it for traps.

The door up/north in the drawing above.

"Agreed."

He moves over to hold his torch near the door for whoever is examining it.

Methodical, the magic user agrees, still holding his torch up.

Torch: 35 minutes

The two thieves slip to the far side of the room, and spend some time checking for traps. Finding nothing, one backs up while the other pushes the door carefully open. It swings open without any issues, revealing a corridor extending on into the darkness. The rest of the team venture closer. The corridor extends all the way to the edge of Martin's torchlight. In the flickering flames, they think they can make out what looks like a door at the far end, but it is just beyond the torch's effective range, so they get only vague hints as the torchlight flickers.
