Chapter 3: Rafting down the pink river
Re: Chapter 3: Rafting down the pink river
Siouxsie starts forward, her eyes narrowing as she watches the lumbering giants begin their ascent. Her voice is quiet, almost reverent, but sharp with resolve.
“This ground is waking. Whatever slumbers on that hill will not wait forever.”
(She glances at Hex and Raffi, gesturing for them to follow.)
“Come. Nature does not bless the hesitant. If we let Qleceec face those beings alone, we may doom her—or force this isle to decide against us.”

Coming Together
Early Afternoon of Waterday, 20th day of Planting, 597
15th day since leaving Loftwick
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 49/63)
Boff (AC 5, HP 60/61)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 19/26)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 53/65, Armor 14/26)
Garrant (AC 3, HP 50/50, Armor 2/8) (Continual Light Coin)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 45/53)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48)
Hex (AC 0, HP 23/27, Armor 8/8)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Frannie casts here CLW on Qleceec and Androgost drinks his Potion of Extra Healing, resulting in 14 HP being restored. (please mark it off). A potion of fire resistance is handed from Garrant to Qleceec (please record). All of the party members get back together. There is some discussion of other spells, but no additional ones are cast at this time.
Hex asks Qleceec "How long to the top?"
The three guardian figures (Red A, B, C) spread out on the flat top of the hill. With the living flame being the most to the parties left, the molten man in the middle and the figure the group got the least look at is closer to the "Giants".
The two "Giant" acquaintances are clearly NOT in a hurry to make it to the top and they are clearly trying to pace themselves to arrive at the top AFTER the party does.
Information for Qleceec
Map
A square is 20' (fair sized island)
Green 1, 2, 3- are the three people in the green light
Red A (flame), B (molten metal), C (other large dude) are the three figures (described in this post.)
P is the Party
G are the two "giants" you have met before.

Qleceec
Once everyone is together again she will start up the easier trail at a standard walk. "Spread out just enough, in case someone tosses an area of effect spell."
She drinks the potion of fire resistance.

Androgost flexs his hands around his blade and also continues on the path chosen.
The offer of providing with him fire resistance - and greater strength - to combat the enemies before them illicit a small smile. "Magic such as that would be welcome here! Additional ability to protect those behind me - and a stronger grip to take down our foes!"

Garrant
"Excellent. I know you have a keen sense of fair play. Both these spells will last about an hour. I'll start with the fire resistance."
He casts Resist Fire and then Enlarge on Androgost.

Four rounds in one post
Early Afternoon of Waterday, 20th day of Planting, 597
15th day since leaving Loftwick
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 54/63) (Potion of Fire Resistance: 8)
Boff (AC 5, HP 60/61)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 53/65, Armor 14/26) (Resist Fire: 57, Enlarge 14.5' tall, 68)
Garrant (AC 3, HP 50/50, Armor 2/8) (Continual Light Coin)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 19/26)
Hex (AC 0, HP 23/27, Armor 8/8)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 45/53) (Improved Invisibility: 10)
The group stops and casts two rounds of spells.
In the first round Garrant casts Resist Fire on Androgost and Frannie casts a Cure Light Wounds on Qleceec for 5 HP. After casting the spell, Frannie moves away from the front half of the order.
In the second round Garrant casts Enlarge on Androgost and Hex casts Improved Invisibility on Nah Olos. "Make it worth it!"
Qleceec drinks the Potion of Fire Resistance just before moving up the hill.
And then the group moves two rounds up the path that Qleceec picked out (making it about 180 feet on that path.) The two "giants" that are slowly flying up the on the side of the group actually lands when you are casting and appears to be letting your group get to the top first.
The flame being and molten metal creature move down the hill slightly.

Androgost grins eagerly as his form and strength increase to match the mighty figures before them. Clutching his sword he too makes his way up the path as fast as the group can keep up. 'To glory!"

Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 45/53) (Improved Invisibility: 10)
As the party moves up the path, molten metal being (Red B) moves down the path to engage Qleceec at the front of the group and the flame creature (Red A) cuts the path and move to engage what it thinks it the rear of the party (Raffi and Hex). The party, just wins initiative and can act first.
The two flying "giants" continue up to hill, they sudden show that the have been moving at much slower speed than they could and quickly move the back of the hill out of the field of view of all party members. The one remaining humanoid form tries to move with them, but cannot keep up.

Can androgst move up to help engage the front creature?
Re: Chapter 3: Rafting down the pink river
Yes, it is just less secure footing off the trail. There may be DEX rolls required for moving off the path.

Androgost, not one for letting others have all the glory in battle, takes advantage of his new size and stomps forward on a direct path to lend his sword to Qleceec.

Boff seeing the molten being decides his bow may not be the best item to attack with....

I can add some attack rolls if he can this round
