Bugs goes to check on his egg, wondering why Crabtree bailed on the group and the warding of the egg.

With the fabricated dummy egg not yet procured, the real egg was hidden by Crabgrass before he departed.

At least it's easy enough for a thief to find. Bugs locates the egg wrapped up and hidden, looking it over for cracks or breaks.

The egg still looks exactly the same as it did when it was found. It still vibrates softly and has a warm feel to it.

So far, there are no mommy or daddy dragons around to retrieve their young....................so far.

There are no clues as to why Crabgrass simply left it here, however.

Bugs

Satisfied with the condition of the egg, he stops thinking of ways to kill Crabgrass.

"Good Eggy, that's a good dragon. Bugsy is here again." He'll sing a lullaby to Eggy while gently rocking it before replacing it in its hiding place.

He goes to the front desk to ask when Crabgrass left and if he mentioned where he was going.

Calista smiles at Bugs.

"He said he would be gone far a few days, but he didn't say where."

"I hope there isn't a problem with the room?"

Bugs

He smiles broadly. "No, nothing like that. The room is excellent. I just thought he would have left a note or something."

Bugs' face lights up. "Ooh. Sabine has a list of comings and goings. I'll ask her! Thanks!" He hurries along to find Sabine.

Calista smiles again.

"Now you're thinking."

"That's a good idea!"
