Backstories play an integral part in this game. And the world has a history which some players will be aware of and others will not based on the background they gave me, and that includes Athan, who is an outsider and thus has less knowledge of this part of the world than the others. I've started each character with experience equal to half the way to their second level to reflect they do have past experiences that play upon the game. I try to weave the backstories of each character into the fabric of my games. So don't be surprised if some characters reference things that mean nothing to yours. Athan likewise has knowledge that others do not as outlined in your excellent backstory for him.
The Dream - I meant for this to be a common denominator for all the characters. So each of you have had this recurring dream but you've yet to discuss it openly. That's probably my fault as I didn't explicitly state that. It is meant to be the one factor you all have in common.
Cast of characters - Yep you hit the nail on the head, all of those are PCs, the others NPCs. I'll post a note called cast of characters which list PC's only and their brief character description/class. Oh and there is no brawler class in the game, as I limited it to only the 20 character classes that I've chosen to keep things a little simpler.
In my next post I'll do a synopsis of what has occurred, which will come in handy, as I've had another person from Paizo express interest.
