Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
Nope climbed up to 3rd floor but there is a tower above the academy that is not part of the academy. When playing this as a set it is weird with descriptions doesn't give me proper images of the place if played as a 3 module run. Or I haven't found it yet. You still have hallway not explored to the left on the image.

Fyi I've been at the emergency department with my wife all day. Not sure what is wrong with her as of yet.

Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
she was released at about 9pm yesterday lesions on her liver, and a referral to GI dept. So no real "help" as of yet. Just long day of testing and waiting. So today taking day off to help wife and around the house.

That's rough. Hope it works out. I'll have my retired cleric pray to Clangeddin.

Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
I will be departing tomorrow morning for a 12 day Fire Fighting ordeal in the East. They are suffering from a Draught condition with no rain in sight. Staging out of Kinston but will be all over Eastern North Carolina to where ever the fires are.. Watch for the Yellow Forest Service Huey. Posting will be limited during the day. Will try and catch up each night, when I am not dead tired.

Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
ok so here is my hold up nothing tells me any additional history about the crest on the floor so I have nothing else to tell anyone about it. From what little information given all it is is a crest of the former master of the academy depicted in some sort of scene from his life or maybe some exaggerated story.

Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
@DM What kind of penalty would you like me to assign to the roll? I should note that there's a NWP "Tactics of Magic" that basically covers what he's trying to do here, though he doesn't have it. It costs 1 slot and is Int-1, normally. Perhaps it's Int-3 if he's attempting it untrained? Even greater?

Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
Well, that didn't turn out like I wanted. Of course I roll a natural 20 when I need to roll an 18 or under. 90% chance of success, and it failed miserably.

Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
I am going to visit family and will most likely be off line until Sunday as my only internet will be my work laptop and I don't know if it will connect to the Unseen Servant (it doesn't at work). No matter what I will be less active. Please feel free to NPC my character.

Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
honestly with how work was last Friday and Today I haven't even kept up with a lot in the forums here. But I think I was waiting for actions since mcTavish is stuck and posted twice, the enemy is stuck as well and does not have STR required to break free (i may have to recheck the MM) but this might well be free attacks until the spell wears off or end of combat to disarm the creature.

Re: The Void (OOC Stuff)
I have also had a lot of busy time at work lately end of a school year, students returning devices to me and teachers asking for things or wanting me to look over their computers (finally) or finally deciding to move from the old laptop to the new I gave them months ago. So it's been a little hectic work side lately. So I've dragged my feet forum game side a bit lately.
