Ganon:
Ganon will release two arrows into the creature, doing his best not to harm anyone in melee.

Hey guys, giving Cormack another day to post.

Dark Elves/Pale Statues/Sacrificial Altar - Round 13:
Altar Room:
Rhaeggef finishes the final words of his prayer, and then begins to scream and wiggle. As Ganon watches, his legs bones move and knit themselves together, then all of his cuts seem to vanish, and he is whole again.
Ganon is taken aback, but with Thorax down, he pulls up his bow and starts shooting at the beast. The arrows bury themselves into the side of the creature (natural 20 did 12 damage!) and a fountain of ectoplasm begins leaking out of the beast, then Glimble pulls up his gun and fires into the oozing nightmare from point blank range. From other side the fireball assaults it, and Cormack and Vek charge in sword and axe swinging.
The beast spins into a whirl, psuedopods lashing out in all directions, one of them slaps Tella down again (4HP), one narrowly misses Glimble as he fumbles around getting ready to heal. One of the tentacles strikes Vek (5HP), and then three of them strike Cormack (18 HP).
However, Cormack and Vek both attack the beast and as they strike it, large chunks of ectoplasm fall to the floor, and suddenly the creature begins wailing and melts as if it can't keep itself together. The smoke and fire in the room seem to vacate with it and then a quiet hush falls upon everything. The evil of the drow was vanquished.
HP/special:
Ganon: 9/20
Cormack:18/46
Roseheart:8/11
Tella: 3/24
Thorax: 0/45
Glimble: 15/33
Vek:38/49

Tantos Vek, failed paladin:
"Healers: kindly attend to Thorax and these two innocents!" Vek said, indicating the two thralls that he himself had savagely attacked.
"The rest of us, stay on guard!"
If there were no immediate healing spells forthcoming for the dying slaves, Vek would quickly break guard, bind their wounds, and try to pour some of his healing potion down their throats without drowning them.
If there were healing spells for the thralls, then Vek heeded his own advice, only letting his eyes drift to the two injured slaves from time to time.

Not being a healer, Cormack will take a knee next to Thorax and begin to pray.

Tella - Elf Mage
Roaches, the lot of 'em. She will say sitting up but staying on the ground. Tella will rummage through her pack until she finds her water skin. After drinking deeply she will wash her face with the water. She will watch what is done with Thorax.

Ganon:
Ganon lowers his guard and looks upon Cormack and Thorax. "Are they…" he pauses not wanting to say the words "dead?"

Roseheart helps where he can to bind wounds but will quickly open up his spell book in a quiet corner to reclaim all of his spent spells.

Glimble unrolls his scroll of cure serious wounds and casts it upon Thorax. rolled what the spell said for 1e. Cure Serious Wounds [2d8+1] = 11+1 = 12

I have one left but Some of us are in fairly bad shape. That is why I wanted to get Thorax back to use his if he has any left.

Aftermath
Rhaeggeff comes over, spitting on the priestess on his way, while Glimble is preparing the scroll and says I have several minor cure spells left. I vill heal the injured if you vill help us all out uv the dungeon. *this will let you keep your scroll Glimble is you want, CSW does=2d8+1*
Rhaeggef uses a CLW on Thorax 1d8=6, and immediately Thorax begins to stir, and grumble a bit, eyes beginning to focus. Rhaeggef moves to the two downed thralls, and working with Vek they stop the bleeding, and the apply magical healing to the downed woman but the man had no pulse. (they were commoners and had very few HP, 13 damage was too much)
You group also notes that the young boy made it, and he gets up, and comes over to join you. He thanks you guys and tells you people call him Wally. Also, now that the whirl of the battle is over you guys note a large, 4'x6'x3' deep chest with open top about 20 ft from the altar behind where the fight was.
Several lightweight folding chairs, made of unrecognizable materials, (OOC=google Campaign furniture) and a folding desk are near the chest. The chest has several runes along the length Roseheart and Tella notice several involing transport like the floating disc spell. The chest may move itself about. The altar must break down, able to be packed inside. On the table are a stack of papers and a small box. Ganon peaks at the interior of the chest from a distance noting there is a smaller chest inside.

Tantos Vek, failed paladin:
Vek was relieved and grateful that Rhaeggeff could save the woman that Vek had injured.
Lost in dark thoughts, the grim warrior lingered over the dead thrall. The man's blood still stained Vek's sword.
"Damn you to hell," he whispered with hatred. But it was unclear whether he cursed the dead thrall, the demon, the Drow, the gods, or himself.

Re: 5- Down the Well, Undermountain, Trip 2
Roseheart utters, "Bravely fought, Vek, " with a nod, leaving him alone to his internal struggles, and moves to peek in the chest.
Re: 5- Down the Well, Undermountain, Trip 2
Ganon:
Ganon slips in front of Roseheart as he goes for the small chest inside the larger one. "Better stand back it's most likely trapped." Ganon surveys both chests. "Glimble may I borrow your lantern. I need the extra lighting." Ganon speaks softly to himself. "The best things come in little packages, let's hope something is home." Ganon will carefully inspect both chests for booby traps and then proceed to open if none are present.

As Thorax wakens and regains focus on the world, Cormack helps him sit up and pats him on the shoulder. "It is good to have you back my friend. Clanggedin has more foes here for you to slay yet." he chuckles.

Tella - Elf Mage
Speaking to Rhaeggef: Of course we will help you out of this place. Can you help me with some healing?
Tella will also look on with interest as to what has been found.

Re: 5- Down the Well, Undermountain, Trip 2
Glimble halts his progress on the scroll before it turns to dust rolls it back up and packs it away for another day. Smiles and is very appreciative of the save of the precious scroll. "Glad to hear that I am down to my last healing spell for the day and I really hated to use this but Thorax was in dire need." in the present calm before the next storm the gnome starts reloading his weapon before he is stuck in mid combat trying to do so once more.Darkmane wrote:Aftermath

Thorax takes an unsteady knee and begins praying. Once completed he will look around and eyeing his handy work will crack a smile.
