I am happy to leave this group behind. Is there any need to attack them?

Krysta lets those up front do the talking. She doesn't trust goblins and grips her mace a little tighter...just in case.
Winter is coming...

Well, there is a sort of general policy that Vaul is at war with goblinkind. But I'm fine with not picking this particular fight right now if others don't want to. Let us see how caution and diplomacy fare us.
Galen reins up his horse well out of bowshot and raises one empty hand to the goblins. "Truce! We'll leave you in peace if you'll do the same." With that, he directs his horse further southward, away from the goblin encampment.
We need to head south eventually anyway, let's just detour well around them. We'd better go at least a couple more hours to get some distance between us, and keep a good watch tonight. Let's have Buryl bring up the rear and watch our backtrail; if they try to follow us, we'll have to make a fight of it.

April 17, 1 VC - 6:10pm
The party makes sign of truce with the goblins, which the wary creatures seem all too eager to accept. That night, there is no sign of trouble, and the group continues somewhat south before turning west during the next day and then traveling onward until they eventually reach the walls of the town of Vaul. The moor feels quiet and somehow very empty as they traverse it--perhaps the inhabitants are sleeping, or biding their time. Or perhaps, like the Firedeep Dwarves, their time has simply come and they are no longer.
Slouching through the main gate, missing two of their number, none in the party seem especially intent on celebrating. Soon, night falls and the group make their dirt-stained (mostly their gear) and foul-spirited way to the inn for some comfortable and well-earned rest.
Please deduct two days' rations apiece and one night's lodging at the inn. All characters will be moved ahead to April 18, and I will post a final set of rewards in a bit.

The pessimist, "The glass is half empty."
The gamer, "I drink the water; what happens?"
Greed shall be thy undoing!

2 days rations and 1 sp deducted
Edit: Retconning the last two days, can I get Galen or Krysta to throw Bertram another heal spell, it would create for a quicker turn around in Vaul at the least?

400 gold pieces (taken from the smoldering wreck outside the dwarf-hold)
One hobgoblin map

Upon arriving in town, Buryl says, "No way I'm going back into that fire-hole. Maybe I'll take a break and join up with those mercenaries--at least they'll be doing work that doesn't involve delving in crypts for no reward and being hunted by flesh-eating undead."
