You would be assuming rightly.

Content with his assessment, Arn falls back in line and continues down with the group (waiting for whoever's scouting ahead, if anyone is, of course).

Elusev would be happy to lead everyone down the dark and spooky stairs.

Dungeon Master:

As Elusev quietly steps down the steps ever so slowly he hears a conversation, in a language he can not understand!

Elusev stops for a moment, both shocked that he does not recognize the language and to warn those following him. Speaking as quietly as he can, "Things up ahead, Don't know the language. Stay quiet and be ready..." He then begins to creep forward as quiet as he can.

The Doctor who isn't able to see much pauses at Elusev's request and holding onto the person in front of him to guage their pace down into the tunnel. He considers his options should combat develop unexpectedly. He goes over his equipment and the spell he has memorized. He strains for glimpses of light with his eyes but keeps his eyes cast downward in case one is suddenly presented. He listens intently for the language and whispers it to the group if he understands it when possible.
