It is starting to appear so.Dram wrote:Is this game a wash?
He said life was going to be crazy until at least early December, so I plan on holding out hope and bumping it again in early January.
For me, mid January is the time for it to be restarted or I'll just move on.
Unfortunately, it is not the first PbP game that I've been in to just fade away ...

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
yeah appears to be don't be surprised if the mods archive this. But the good news is that archived games can be restored for completion if the dm returns. I have also heard of in some cases a new DM taking over a game.

Fronky,
I'll stick with my thief. I can't find the time to make a new character right now.

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
Ok - can we do a roll call? 1.) Player (user id) 2.) Character; if "new" please indicate.
I guess one way to do that is someone propose a marching order

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
Ok - I'll be posting in a new thread (A.H. - "After Hiatus").
I'll put the proposed marching order (may not change much?) as well.

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
Ok - I updated Marching order (removed Kirlandir, put the Elf F/MU/T back to npc who will watch camp and mounts). I locked the Chapter 1 topic (and accidentally copied a couple of threads to global announcements - working on getting that fixed). I believe the characters are now the following:
Matt (barna10) - Elias
Steve (shaidar). Mathus wood elf F/MU
Chris (GTan_Baq) Ian the Wanderer, human MU
Ed (GreyWolfVT) Algrim Dwarf Fighter Here!
Mark-(Dram) Skyzar Fight/Thief lvl 5/6
Sean (Starbeard), Fiksilma Kimmontytar (Cleric/Illusionist 5/5)
Arthur (atpollard) - Afton (Paladin)
NPC (FronkyDondo) - Thule Human Fighter
NPC (FronkyDondo) - Dom ODusil Human Cleric
NPC (FronkyDondo) - Gilgalore Elf F/MU/T [primarily to guard camp/ serve as backup character reinforcement]
I will make another post either this evening (US Eastern UTC -5:00 3/23/2015) or tomorrow.

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
Ok, so I'm retarded. I apparently accidentally deleted "Chapter 1: A Summons, and a Call to action"; trying to get it restored. Also: I want to "hide" the topic where we all listed how old we are, demographic info, etc. or at least set it so only we can see it - any clues?

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
ToniXX can create a hidden topic in the game he did it for me in Tragidor game all you have to do is pm him give him a name for it and he can make it happen. Then just ask if he can move that topic into the hidden one. He will also want to know who is allowed to see or access it and that will be what you are wanting.

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
Two questions, since it's been awhile:FronkyDondo wrote:I am giving this rest opportunity to allow you to change your memorized spells; if you want to make a change, please do so now. Also: please update your load outs if necessary (attack w/ 2 weapons? Always holding missile weapon unless indoors, etc.)
1. How are we handling cantrips? A single 1st-level slot = 4 0-level slots?
2. How are we handling spell level limits in multiclassing? No level can have more spells memorized than what's available in the highest class?

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
Someone asked me about declaring/deciding your weapon load-outs (default weapon in hand, when to switch to missile weapon) as well as spell memorization. For the time being - indicate in a note on your character sheet (on the dice-roller forum). Otherwise, we'll rely on the honor system for now.

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
1.) I can't remember for cantrips. What you have suggested is a good guideline. I know we discussed this before, but I cannot remember what was decided.Starbeard wrote:Two questions, since it's been awhile:FronkyDondo wrote:I am giving this rest opportunity to allow you to change your memorized spells; if you want to make a change, please do so now. 2.) Can you explain this question a little more? Not sure I understand - sorry.
