You can roll it or you can take half (4) and add your Con bonus, if any.tazwmg wrote:thurgrum is now 4th lvl cleric. do I roll my hp or does the dm?

Happy Summer fellers!
Did a little intro clean up on the game page and added an Epilogue to the Keepers thread.
Need to update the NPC list some time.

Oh, and just to put this out there > now is a great time to make some decisions about your character and about whether you want to continue when the game restarts later in the fall. I threw out some "seeds" in the Epilogue for some of you to think about.
You might want to retire your character and start with a new one.
You might want to move on from this game entirely.
Think about it and let me know, either in this thread or in PM.
Later!

You'll have to turn Greystone into a tree before he settles down and retires...
Or is that what you have in mind???

+1 in the still wants to play column, G!
Also happy to continue playing Purvan when you fire up the DM furnaces again. Assuming he gets the time to train with Greystone or the other elves after the battle, he makes 3rd level officially and gets some juicy bumps in the Thieves' Skills department!
... AND not just leveling up but possibly becoming proud papa Purvan? Oh my!!
Heh, absolutely great stuff, brother. Love that high level of realism with the NPCs: how they fit in the storyline and react with and to one another. Your campaign world comes alive and stays exciting. Big DM props out to you, man!
.... but of course, hoping his archery gets a wee bit better:
- 2 broken strings in 6 encounters
- 4 hits out of 13 total shots (32.5% hit ratio)

Re: OOC 3 > Rant and Rave and Throw Rocks!
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't beginning to plan a little bit. With summer over and work in the early stages of what looks like a routine (I hate to speak that out loud; don't want to jinx it), I'm getting back into the groove of early rising, going to bed early, and finding some sweet spots during the work day to check the forums.Computer +1 wrote:So we starting again soon??!!
I'd also be lying if I said I wasn't thinking of something a little different for these characters. I've been thinking of a published adventure or something akin to it instead of just winging it and creating everything from scratch. But...I don't want to spoil what we've created together. So I need some input on that, specifically what you have planned for your characters.
What I know right now >
Dalivere has gathered the materials he was sent into the woods to gather.
Darkstar and Min are planning on getting hitched!
And that's all I know for sure...
So, help me out and give me some direction and ideas and thoughts and opinions and...well, you get the picture.

Re: OOC 3 > Rant and Rave and Throw Rocks!
Lemme she about Darkstar's thoughts at the moment.
He is in love with Min and wants to get married and start a family. But he doesn't necessarily want to be part of her clan, he would rather start one of his own. He also still thinks about his own clan and who killed them and why. And why he was left alive, fate or by design. His only real friend is Greystone, who he shared so much with, but is from another clan then the one he is about to marry into.
I dont know if any of that gives you a thread to tie into....

Re: OOC 3 > Rant and Rave and Throw Rocks!
Dalivere plans to return the objects to pay off his debt. He has no plans to settle down in anyway or anywhere. He is a free spirit on the hunt for fun, fame, and fortune pretty much in that order. Any schemes he can come up with to achieve those ends he will follow.

Re: OOC 3 > Rant and Rave and Throw Rocks!
Happy New Year, fellers!!
Not sure if anyone is still around, although I've seen a few of you on the boards over the holidays. I feel kinda bad for letting this game end and not start it back up last fall as promised. Just got swamped at work and being exhausted when I got home, to be honest, I didn't feel like getting back into this game.
I don't know if any of you are still even interested in your characters, but I'm going to post a personal epilogue for each character. Would appreciate your input on the post when you get it. It might sound a little cheesy, but I really enjoy revisiting old games and characters. Digging through posts, rereading combats > it's all fun for me.
So...here goes > it may take me a few days to get all of the posts out to you guys, especially since this weekend is chock full of football...

Hey Hedge
I just read Darkstar's ending. It was really good man. I am sad to see that you aren't going to start the game up but I must say that this was by far the best game I have played here. So that you for all the hard work.
I wish I was a better DM and could do what you did with this game!

Hey Doug > appreciate the kind words. DMing is hard, dude. Just keep at it, and keep at it, and keep at it. And feel free to reply to the epilogue if you like...
