Re: Chapter 5 > Neverwinter...In Search Of...
"If this is the gate to the civilized part of town, we'll most likely get at least similar if not worse treatment at the other gates. I say we submit to the inspection and get on with finding this druid's grove."

Re: CHAPTER 3a: The Thorax Scavengers
Oor-Zak hurls a spear at the giant insect man with the glowing whip before readying his ax to charge.
Initiative: [1d10] = 2
spear thrown (in the dark): to hit [1d20-2] = 2, damage [1d8+2] = 8+2 = 10 I think that's a miss![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: Expedition - Unpronouncable/Release a Demon - 30 April,
Hi All. Sorry for the long absence. The start of school and then unexpected guests for the long weekend sucked up more time than I thought. I kept thinking "I'll have time tomorrow to check US" but we all know how that worked out... Martin looks as as if coming back from a daydream. "...

Oor-Zak leaps from his bedroll and gathers his axe and spears. He peers intently out into the darkness, trying to discern why Gar had raised an alarm.

Re: OOC Discussion 3
Ranulf will head into town. I have a vision of him carousing with pockets overflowing with coppers... For replacements, I would prioritize a replacement for a cleric over a magic -user (though sleep might come in handy against those kobolds...). I guess it would depend on if anyone responds to DrPet...

"Son of a rat's ass!"Ranulf curses as the chests are opened, revealing the piles of copper coins. "All that work for a pile of crappy copper. There better be something good behind that iron door to make this all worthwhile."

Re: OOC Discussion 3
I think we've talked about it some, various systems have been proposed in terms of divvying things up. I think where we stand is that items go to those who could best use them, with an eye to trying to keep things somewhat fair. (ie, a sword is brought back, along with a pile of loot. The person wh...

Stuff you sell you can get full xp for, but it's a long, slow, expensive process. (Find & hire a mage to identify it, then find a buyer over a month or more). If you want to send Galen, or if Quinn is retiring sue to injury or something, it might be a reasonable thing to have going on on the si...

"Lost creatures those are. Torn from the path of the One from Beyond they have been, stripped of the glories of the cycle of life and death," pronounces Martin. "We should help them back to he path so they may continue on their journey."

The empty casings from Deacon's .38 tinkled loudly on the concrete in the quiet aftermath of the gunfight as he reloaded his weapon. "Jenny, Lisa, go check on that girl over there. We need to get her off the street." He takes a few minutes to check on the elderly couple before directing th...

While the newcomer goes through his ritual, Gerland hangs back with the others and starts to think about how they tend to the druids body. 'Hey guys' " he says quietly, "Anyone have an idea on how were going to take care of the body? Bury it? Cremation? Stuffed it into a hollow tree? Guess...

with the injured moving so slow it's a tough tactical decision....try to limp away and get sniped the whole way or stand and fight and unknown number of creatures.

"Maybe if we let the fire burn down we'll get more of them to rush into our firing range, " whispers Ranulf.
Since he gave his crossbow to Randolpho earlier he's just going to run defense in case some of the kobolds break through and get close enough for melee.

I think Ranulf can carry a chest at half speed also. Of the rest of the stuff, at the very least we need to take Guran's chainmail and hammer (which Torgyr already carries). Audi should upgrade amour now...maybe the dead dwarfs (with permission from the dwarves). Do we want to take Torgan's stuff a...

Ranulf nods towards Guran's quarters as he sends Emm and Audi back to help turn over it's contents. "Zim and I can keep watch. Just come running if we call out."
