Re: Kinslayer OOC III

Hey everyone, After some consideration, I am bowing out from the game. It has been an amazing run so far, and for that I thank archolewa and shaidar - for some crazy good DMing and RPing. But at the end of the day I don’t think this is the game or system for me. Wishing you all the best possible adv...

Re: Escape from / Assault of ... the Slavers Temple

Edel "Kennel" - the magic user insists. Like I said here - https://www.unseenservant.us/forum/viewtopic.php?p=766657#p766657 - my vote is still for trying to find a way past the Aspis again, and then heading to the captured slaves. The kennel is on the way for both options anyway, and it ...

Re: Escape from / Assault of ... the Slavers Temple

Edel "Let's start by heading to the kennels first, and strike back" - Edel retorted - "They might be momentarily in disarray, so this is our opportunity" May I suggest spending any extra healing consumables (if you have them) on Elwita and Jacupo? Then strike at the kennels.

Re: (Corvin/Jalko Adventure 3): A Sordid Business

It seems to me that in DDX that Weapon Feats are important to give your character that boost in combat, a lot of them provide defensive abilities when you take them. It also seems to me that in DDX gp are essential, they drive xp, paying for training and in this games case you need some to get you ...

Re: OCC: Out of Character Chat

Sorry more things came up yesterday. I posted a response from Nesto... As far as in person game, I am running an in person Arden Vul game using my modified OSE rules. We play every other week for 3 hours. I have a second group which is going to start meeting once a month to play 1e one shots (3 to ...

Re: OCC: Out of Character Chat

D&D 5.24 and The One Ring are the things I'm currently running. I'm gearing up for Pendragon come August. New version coming out? 6th edition (which is mostly out now) using the 5.2 GPC material. Would you recommend it? I have never played Pendragon - what kind of system is it? It is d20 right?

Re: OCC: Out of Character Chat

We were playing Hyperborea in the original setting with just humans. But, I made the reincarnation spell more available than raise dead so we eventually ended up with an abonimal snowman in the group LOL. The player loved it. The game that just started is a homebrew setting and the standard D&D...

Re: (Corvin/Jalko Adventure 3): A Sordid Business

We can hold onto the books. We just have to be careful that we don't fall too far behind with weapon feat training, as they'll become less effective in combat. Not that Sebastian is much for combat, but Kasper can be. I'm just a little concerned with Corvin being left to hold the front line. I am s...

Re: (Corvin/Jalko Adventure 3): A Sordid Business

Quick note: The team did already decide to trade Mordred's sword to the other PC team, who have a bastard sword wielder, and that team is in fact using that sword at the moment (being several weeks ahead in the timeline). I will be setting up a thread for that shortly. Also, these things are probab...

Re: (Corvin/Jalko Adventure 3): A Sordid Business

Jalko has 20gp and 4sp. If he can get a loan he will train, spend most of his time at it, then grabbing a few beers and crash out exhausted. To start again the next day. Even though we are short on cash, I would say keep the books - who knows when another magic-user might join the group, or even a ...

Does it look mineral or organic?

None of that prevents him from trying to assist Stannik!
