Re: Session 5: Beliard

"Yes, take us to this stream if you would be so kind. Are there any known dangers here near said stream or in these parts? Does anyone else visit said stream often?" Dorobo stays on alert for any sign of ambush or hostility as they travel to the stream.

Re: OOC I

Of course if we take an unconventional route or travel rarely traveled roads, going to ominous locations etc. etc. then random encounters are easy to use and practical. FOr major routes really only the above applies. Traditional 'abandoned/super baddy inhabited' Dungeons also are fun to populate wit...

Re: OOC I

ON a side note I suppose... Really fast creepy crawlies that attack parties would be acceptable to me too though, if you had went that route. If my character's assumption he could outrun them was wrong... so be it. I always leave that kind of stuff up to you DM I absolutely agree. Don’t let any of ...

Re: Session 4: Westbridge to Beliard

"shiiiiiiiit them things fast!" Dorobo yelps as the swarm draws nearer the party and it becomes apparent the little buggers scurry a bit faster than it looked at first.. He dashes wide of the creatures' path, bow and arrow still in hand he abandons any effort to knock and loose in arrow in...

Re: OOC I

OK so we able to run away from the nasties?...cool. The die roller I'll figure out next time we need it for combat etc... ON a side note I suppose... Re: OOC I

Sorry been so long since we needed to roll completely forgot how to. Is it a code here or do I go to the dice roller page???? Completely forgot. Poked around a bit and saw no guides or FAQ about rolling dice... I must be dumb LOL....

Re: Session 4: Westbridge to Beliard

Dorobo uses footspeed and his bow to ensure victory...

(I find it highly unlikely the movement speed for such creatures can match that of a normal man...so dorobo keeps his distance and picks them off.... If things get dicey he'll run rather than engage such creatures in melee combat.)

Re: OOC I

Just commenting on how most people run their games, as a player I am not picking how everyone rolls. If I didn't play in games due to not rolling just 3d6 I wouldn't play in many. Most also go with max HP at first. Doesn't really matter to me as long as everyone has a good time. Who the DM is more ...

Re: OOC I

I have played in quite a few games on here and can only recall two that used 3d6 and both allowed you to roll 6 sets and pick your best one. 4d6 and drop the lowest is by far the most common method. you do vanilla rolls when you REALLY want to play retro. That usually means you are rolling HP too.

Re: OOC I

yea, I just saw everyone had pretty good stats. but it was the method that allowed it. https://anydice.com/articles/4d6-drop-lowest/ I was in the 10% or so range, Jaroo around 4%, 3 17s is .34% chance. The whole array looks pretty good, probably around 1 in 300 probability so not that rare but prett...

Re: OOC I

Been so long I can't remember what our roll method was...To be honest everyone's stats seem improbable. We must have used a rather generous roll method. Honestly can't remember. The new character definitely looks manipulated, but we all used the online roller right? I count like 3 thieves in the par...

Dorobo looks puzzled... "I think you are mistaken, friend." Our destination is Beliard... Westbridge I think it's hear about you???

Re: OOC I

I was just fleshing out Dorobo's characters. I thief from the street, but not necessarily a heartless or desperate scoundrel. Not a klepto. Not heartless but a bit crass. Generally cheeful but silent when need be, opinionated but not a leader. Stuff like that. He is following the herd as it is, bein...

Re: Session 3: Westbridge

Dorobo, having offered his assessment of the situation, isn't particularly argumentative about which direction they should go and doesn't object as the party's sentiments seems to favor Beliard. Democracy will work for him in this case. He voices his agreement to others' suggestions for acquiring ro...

Re: OOC I

I'm cool with updating rations on the sheet when I have time. Sorry if I get behind. I just want to share my theory/thoughts on rations... OK I was gonna put something thought out- but basically I prefer it not to be roleplayed in detail or at all. For me it just doesn't add much to the fun of the R...

Re: Session 3: Westbridge

Once out of earshot of the wizard and company Dorobo suggests to the rest; "I say we double back and take a look for and at that Ogre layer. If that don't pan out go see if we can get any more -ahem- assistance from the girl's family etc. then check these other towns. Also it's a little curious...

Re: Session 3: Westbridge

Dorobo knows a free lunch when he sees it. A bit of coin for 'looking for a girl'. He takes the money as offered, destination unimportant, especially in such a large and relatively well armed group. Who knows what the girl has gotten up to? Probably was in the Ogre's belly... He asks the wizard, &qu...

Re: OOC I

Umm... been so long since this started and I never played on this site before. How do I access and edit the character sheet again??
