Re: Known Absences
Mangkhut typhoon signal is up to no. T9 here, might get a no. T10 later. T8 is when everything shuts down. Not too worried because our building engineers are extremely paranoid, though we'll probably lose a lot of trees. https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/society/article/2164344/super-typhoon-mangk...

Re: OOC and Q&A
What do you guys think about maybe running a lackey each? I would make them, using a straight 3d6 method, would think 2nd level at most. I have a method based on Dr Holmes advice: give them 15 in their prime requisite, and 1d6+6 in everything else. They should be fairly good to take on the risk of ...

Looking forward to finding out more about the world of Hârn - I've always been intrigued, but never had the time to delve into it. Just the article on the orcs has already upset my previous (admittedly baseless) assumptions.

Re: Barrowmaze, in Blue, looking for players.
Hello, BLUEHOLME author here! I'll lurk if you don't mind, this sounds interesting. :) Blackrazor, you listed a few creatures there which don't appear in BLUEHOLME, and beholders are not available under the OGL. The monster list is taken entirely from the Blue Book (Holmes Basic) and anything Dr Hol...

The video is in production, so I expect it to kick off soon. I might miss the planned November start date though.lab mix wrote:And Vile (or anyone)...did the new BLUEHOLME art Indiegogo start yet?

Speaking of BLUEHOLME™, I really have to let go of other things for a bit and concentrate on the Indiegogo. Hope to see you on the other side!

Siegfried loses his temper and goes after the skeleton which speared his comrade.

Anger never was a good fencing partner, and Siegfried's swing goes wide once more.

Re: OOC comments, house rules and questions
Damn, I thought this one was fading out and I'd have a bit of free time on my hands - playing in one face-to-face, one Roll20, and two play-by-post games really eats up the time!
I jest, glad to be back in action.

Rolling to attack with advantage: (STR:15) [1d20] = 15 (STR:15) [1d20] = 18 Both rolls miss. From his post beside the door Siegfried brings his axe down with tremendous force ... just missing the skull of the skeleton by the breadth of a non-existant hair. If possible he will try to peek into the c...

Re: Chapter One - A grim fate
Siegfried kicks the brazier leg used to jam open the secret door, hoping to dislodge it. He drops his pack and grunts, Spikes are in there." Possibly not the wisest course of action when dealing with a light-fingered character, but wisdom has never been one of Siegfried 's strong suits. He the...

"We could pull out the spike and let the door shut," suggests Siegfried, before positioning himself to one side of the opening with his axe raised high.

Re: Chapter One - A grim fate
Siegfried hastily dons his armour and follows his companions' footsteps down the corridor, only to meet them backing out again. With his usual grace and patience he huffs, "Well, make up your minds! Is it to be forwards or back?"

Re: Chapter One - A grim fate
Siegfried is in good shape after applying the salve, but his armour needs a bit of repair. He keeps a close eye on the skeleton's antics.
