I believe I bought a mule. Mostly because I dont picture even a dual class magic user carrying around a bunch of stuff without some sort of companion carrying some of the weight. I mean not unless he has a bag of holding or something of that nature.

I wanted to see what the party did as far as transport goes. Sasha has enough funds to get a horse or mule but it always comes down to what do you do when you arrive at the dungeon or whatever. Hope its there when you get back? :)

I have 2 ponies and 2 wolves, plus if we each get a horse we have plenty of ability to transport stuff.

I mean I suppose if we were allowed to I could hire some fellow to guard my mule and tend to it when we are in a dungeon or what not. Granted that'd be pending DM approval. I certainly have the extra 300 gp to spare for paying someone.

Sasha can map but the details are a bit shaky:
We went down 60' of spiral stairs
Tunnel heading east
How far down the tunnel did the party go before hitting the door?
How big is the room beyond the door?
Are there any other doors in the room?
:D
