Zirina expressed dissent.
Fingers posted that he "stayed his hand."
Fingers asked six rhetorical questions, attempting to argue his point.
Zirina is playing the stoic warrior - she is not responding to his rhetorical arguments or equivocating what she has named as murder.

This is an IC resolution. Fingers doesn't historically like leadership or hard decisions. He has one before him and should roleplay it out. She is not giving him the moral convenience of consensus and is pushing him to Lead.

Baudh is wrathful against the forces of evil, corruption, and darkness, and is especially opposed to the undead.

Just in case he needs support. Markd knows this thing is exuding evilness and sees nothing wrong with fingers killing it dead.

After several minutes of arguing, Fingers turns and abruptly plunges his sword into the defiant werewolf. (-8) The beast howls triumphantly and leans into the blade, it's wounds continuing to heal as soon as the blade is removed. It flexes it's muscles and snaps the rope! It turns to flee the clearing into the pre-dawn countryside...

Actions?

Date: 16 October 2021, 5:20am
Light: Campfire, waning gibbous moon / partially cloudy
Effects: idriss (levitation)
Injuries: None

Fingers goes to kill him. No hit roll, but we will use damage since it is a magical, regenerating creature. Fingers backstab applies as he is unmoving/bound.

Fingers damage [1d8+2] = 3+2 = 5. Werewolf STR check [1d20] = 1

8 damage,
Also, it snaps the rope.

Markd quickly tries to stab at the wolfthing with his shorter dagger, pissed he didnt help when he needed to. (dice roller not working at moment, apparently)

"Shit rope, thought I tied that up properly." says the mage. He hopes Zirina is not so finicky about slaying a werewolf now. His new fangled fireball might just roast everyone so he saves that spell for later. He levitates upwards again out of danger throwing a silver dagger in the process aiming for the werewolf's forehead.

Fingers swipes again with his sword but misses as the werewolf leaps to flee. Idriss hurls his knife (crit: max damage -4) before Markd catches him and slits his throat with the golden knife. (-6, -7) The were wolf collapses, thrashing briefly to hold his throat before he goes unconscious.

Standing over him, Fingers sees his wounds healing. Still pissed, he thrusts downward and splits it's skull. The creature begins to change, hair shrinking and body straightening back to a human shape. Fingers notes that the youth is perhaps a year or two younger than himself. No longer in wolf form, he has only a thin fuzz, unable yet to grow more facial hair. He is heavily muscled - certainly brawn of the group - and might have been more imposing if he had reached full maturity.

You hear responses howling, not as far away as you'd like. You leave his body to rot and set out before dawn. "Feels like we are watched," says Zirina, keeping an eye on the horizon.

It is early afternoon when you have circled the city walls and reached the imposing eastern wall. The secret door which opens into the safety of the Keep's kitchen is above you on the steep escarpment.

Markd leads the small group and their mounts up the steep slope and to the secret door in the base of the keepside wall. He finds it just as he left it and the swordwraiths meet him inside, having spied him from some distance off. They remain unharmed since his last visit and loyal to him, as sworn. "My Lord, are you concerned by those who lingered on your trail, watching you from the further hills? It looks like three man-sized figures."

The group makes itself comfortable back in the first-floor barracks together as the swordwraiths light torches and a fireplace fire the comfort of their moral guests. The sun is set, but you are safe inside with sufficient time to plan your next objective.

He looks up with a start and smacks himself on the head. "Oh, crap! I've got this seed I'm supposed to plant where the collapsed tomb was! I totally forgot! Guys, we need to go back and do that. Or I do, anyway. And maybe we should do something about those jerks that are following us, too, okay?"

No wonder Marullus was lingering over that last move to the keep. Oops.

The mage studies the ghostly guardians, uncomfortable in their presence though he tries not to show it. "How long have you continued you duty here? What happened to create the ruins?" he asks.

Regarding the trio of werewolves. Do they follow us for revenge or are the territorial creatures that we encountered in their forest? Have the wraith seen them before lurking about the ruins?
