Re: Chapter 3: Taverns and New Adventures
Searching the room Egon finds a small silver ring with a blue-green gem is found under the pillow on one of the beds. The lamps indeed appear to be a magical flame that looks similar to a lit lantern or torch but produces no heat or smoke it is a softer light there are two in the room.

Re: Chapter 3: Taverns and New Adventures
The magic lamp looks like an oil lamp it provides the same range of light as a hooded lantern and has a shutter to douse the light, it produces no heat or smoke, and does not flicker like a normal torch or lantern.

Lounge: Egon opens the door and finds the following.
This is a rather agreeable lounge, with armchairs, a flickering fire in a grate, rugs, mahogany furnishings-not well maintained, alas-and a liquor cabinet. There is a pair of spears mounted above the fireplace, and a mantel with some ornaments. Very cozy!

Re: Chapter 3: Taverns and New Adventures
Dining Room Egon opens the door to find the following. This is clearly a dining room. There is a large table with six chairs around it, and six place settings of silver and china. A painting of an imposing old wizard hangs on the west wall. A side table with glasses, a bowl, and vases of long-dead flowers rests under the painting. A splendid crystal chandelier that glows with a soft, magical light is mounted on the ceiling above the table.

"I will pray once more to Angharradh for a revelation." Find traps from the position of the party towards the long corridor. It might cover some of the most recently opened room.

Re: Chapter 3: Taverns and New Adventures
Looking down the hallway and into the two rooms opened Urtesi has determined that there are no traps that he can see with his spell as for recently opened doors can cannot say but there does appear to be a set of stairs everyone can see the start of down the hall on the right about 40' from where the group is when Egon opens the door to the dining room.
