Re: Character creation
I went 32 on age. How would i do starting coin since i am 2 classes?
Roll what it says for both classes and divide by 2 then multiply by 3 to meet what wolfpack said?
Also i did that for my HP rolled both Thief and Fighter for level 1 and 2 then divided by 2 and added Con bonus.

He said max for 1st level HP, re-roll 1's. I would average for starting GP.

Re: Character creation
Just leather. I think you can wear any but can't use your thief abilities unless your in none or leather.

Re: Character creation
Right but Studded is Leather. So that is why it makes no sense that i can only wear regular leather.

Re: Character creation
you can wear any armor but can't use thief abilities in anything heavier than plain leather.
you can have the 1 xp to get the 2501.
max HP at 1st level for both classes, divide each classes HP by 2 con bonus only applies once.
weapon proficiency as the highest of the 2 classes.
gold roll as the class that gets the highest possible and multiply by 3.
no non weapon proficiency
for the raven, hmmm harder to train than a hawk so I'll say 25 gp.

Re: Character creation
That's how I did it so should be good then.max HP at 1st level for both classes, divide each classes HP by 2 con bonus only applies once.
Well that blows..you can wear any armor but can't use thief abilities in anything heavier than plain leather.
Alright so Fighter HP halved since i would be F3/T2?you can have the 1 xp to get the 2501.

Re: Character creation
I have the dagger as a tool to cut things, eat with etc (that is why I wrote camp tool in the notes). Is that OK?
Ed, you have your levels backwards. Fighter 2 Thief 3. Next level XP is Fighter/Thief 4001/5001.
Are you planning on writing the background?

Re: Character creation
as a tool is fine just don't use it in combat.
Re: Character creation
Got it, I will move it to inventory so it is clear. I think Hildr is set except background. I think I have all her possible spell components except the small silver mirror for sanctuary. I will do encumbrance in a bit.

Re: Character creation
Hmm Background....if we are siblings "partially" and she's human but he's half-elf.....i guess a father or mother cheated "potentially" so perhaps the bond the two have are that they stuck together. That or i suppose perhaps a parent passed on and we found out later on that we were related? Thoughts Rex?
Encumbrance crud I didn't even think of that.

Re: Character creation
Couple ways this could go.
Both could be legitimate, mothers passed in childbirth. Father was a drunk after losing both. Ended up relying on each other to survive. I fell in with the church of Odin and you fell in with the wrong sort.
Maybe your father was an elven scout on his wander thing and knocked up a young girl, her human friend married her to protect her and latter I was their child. Something happened and they died when we were young. We ended up on the street, you taking care of us until I was taken in by a cleric of Odin who read the runes and saw I would be a cleric of Odin.
What do you think, anything seem good to you. Both need more detail if you can think of anything.

Re: Character creation
I like this one adding to it the human father that ended up adopting the half-elf was harder on him even though Sarin doesn't have the looks of an elf and could pass as human the father always knew that secretly he was not the biological father. Sarin eventually later found out that he was half-elf his mother told him upon her death bed she got some terrible disease that killed her off and our adoptive father couldn't take the loss of his wife and started drinking and fighting. One day it got him tossed in jail he picked a fight with the wrong person and that person. (maybe a lord or someone else of wealth, or maybe the captain of the guard or something)Maybe your father was an elven scout on his wander thing and knocked up a young girl, her human friend married her to protect her and latter I was their child. Hildr always got along with Sarin and same in reverse. They were great brother and sister even if they later learn that they are only half siblings. They liked to play "adventurer" as kids. Eventually this lead to Sarin learning to use a bow and sword. Hildr after what happened to their mother went the way of a priest seeing out a higher guide in life find this is Odin. Sarin found his way through other means. However he did seek out the elves and learned that his name his true father gave him is Sarfinas though only the elves call him such, he still goes by Sarin by anyone else.

That sounds good to me. I will copy and paste into my background.
Re: Character creation
You are able to easily find some charcoal based items to blacken your armor (subtract 1 gp).
