Character creation

roll 4d6 drop lowest place in any order

begin with 5000 xp
roll starting gold x3

2 proficiency slots can be spent on a weapon to receive a +1 to hit with it.

Abilities [4d6c1] = 15 [4d6c1] = 16 [4d6c1] = 12

Unsurprisingly, not very good.

Best option I see is a Half Orc Fighter, but lacks any versatility at all.

I was thinking of a dual class human ranger/cleric or fighter/cleric, but I can't dual class without at least 1 17+

I will wait on Ed for my final decision.

you could be a 1/2 elf fighter/cleric

Thanks. I think I will go with straight human cleric. I don't see the added versatility in the fighter/cleric multi-class (dual yes). Do we get max HP for 1st level or roll all levels?

Is NG an OK alignment for a cleric of Odin? I saw his alignment is listed as LN.

yes LN, NG, LG all are acceptable, just not chaotic

keep in mind clerics of Odin must be proficient with the spear and can't wear armor heavier than chain.

Terribly average here so don't expect any thing overly "grand" But better than all fives. ;)

Fighter/Thief still being considered i know i wont need to care a bout a deity but still thinking the character will follow Hermes even if it is "loosely"

each of you should have at least 2 exceptional stats and nothing that creates a negative

Good with the spear and chain. For other weapons do I need to stick to book cleric choices or is long sword and throwing axe allowed?

book restricted clerics weapons except the spear. you can spend 2 weapon slots on a single weapon to get a +1 to hit.

Are we using secondary skills (DMG 12).

What is the cost for a trained raven? Hawk, large is 40gp and small is 18gp.

I spend 100gp on a set of bone runes for the Augury spell, if you have something else in mind just let me know.

Half siblings works Rex.

I'm still working on mine. Male Half-Elf, Name still in the works. Fighter/Thief good with a bow and Long sword still working on the rest.

Looks good. Your xp for next level on the thief should be 2501. Also if we are siblings I think you need to drop your age a bit.

per DMG, starting age for a 1st level human cleric is 19-22, I went with 26 at 3rd level
Half-elf fighter is 25-34 and thief is 25-46
Maybe 30 or 31 for you?
