I'll be at Gencon this week/end. I'll have my laptop for work, but might not be able to post until Monday.

lol that may be true but I look damned good in a pretty ball gown which I can't say the same for the rest of you grognards

Just to clarify here is the withdrawal rule in the rulebook I thought i'd post it up for all to see.

Once a character is engaged in melee, he cannot back away
without opening himself up to attack. If a character or monster
withdraws from an active melee – whether to retreat,
move to a new position, or attempt some action – his opponents
immediately receive a single free attack.

Thanks for the vote of confidence

AQuebman, I posted one character named Bronwyn, but I was getting sort of mixed messages as to how many characters I should roll up-- let me know if you need me to make more, and let me know if it looks like I've got it correct.

Meanwhile, I'll spend tomorrow catching up on what's going on/making additional characters if necessary, and I'll be ready to jump in tomorrow night (or whenever is convenient)!

EDIT: Also, hmm... It seems I rolled the thieve's tools for my starting equipment... 8-) This just might work out.

Damn right! I'm actually rather fond of him, but if he gets the drop, c'est la vie.

As a side note, when I saw "Dwarf" and "Dirgesinger" together, I immediately thought of the Misty Mountain song from the Hobbit. So, as thousands of innocents plummet to their deaths, I can't help but imagine my dwarf singing that song for them...

Hello guys (and gals?),

Just trawling through the Starless Sea campaign to get a flavour of what you have been through so far and some knowledge on these beastly beastmen who seem intent on giving me up as an offering! As Penelope Pitstop would say, "Help me, help me! It's the Hooded Claw!".

Hey guys i've been doing great deeds for the patron of money and women and haven't been near a computer for anything other than work in the past week and a half. That and the misses decided it was unhook and move everything to have the carpets cleaned week so i've had my plans all jacked up.

I am trying to finish an update now and get this thing back on track.
