Tunnel Complex, 300D/81 (Morning)

Denslow and Farmanus cautiously pad forward into the side tunnel with MacMak close behind, crossbow at the ready. They are around halfway down the passage before a familiar 6 inch diameter gray-brown ball rolls into the tunnel from the room beyond.

OOC: Denslow, Farmanus and MacMak must roll a Reflex Save.

Simultaneously, from the turntable chamber, the rear of your line is attacked by javelin-throwing denizens. Ron is struck four times (DMG 11) by the mini spears as he yells out, ”ALARM!”

Denslow tries to dodge Denslow "its all in the reflexes" save [1d20+3] = 15+3 = 18. Come out cowards, he yells.

If he can get deeper into the area without stepping in the bad stuff (this is a goo bomb, right?) he will so he can attack those within.

Farmanus the Unneeded

Farmanus sees the grey-brown ball, but does not immediately recognise the danger. "Wha... ?"
Reflex save [1d20+3] = 4+3 = 7

Collecting his wits, he rushes toward the danger and attacks with his spear (if possible).
Initiative [1d20+3] = 13+3 = 16
Attack w/spear [1d20+4] = 7+4 = 11
Damage [1d8+3] = 3+3 = 6

Bruce, rapidly assessing the situation, determines that their new friend Farmanus is better equipped and in a better position to handle the threat from the front. He follows (albeit slightly slower) his Android cohort Kurot to the rear to provide support there.
Arriving just outside of Melee range, He fires off 2 quick shots with his sligshot at any attackers he can discern.

Initiative [1d20+4] = 20+4 = 24+Zon[1d4] = 1 = 25 WOW

Tunnel Complex, 300D/81 (Morning)

Combat, Round 2

Bruce dashes to the rear and spots two Thorax Scavengers in the turntable chamber. He whips two sling bullets and smacks one (#1) in its carapace! (5pt. dmg)

Farmanus tries to leap forward and away from the rolling ball. He is caught in the blast of green goo (Fails save) and the acidic slime easts into his legs! (DMG 5)

Denslow pivots and rolls along his roots and avoids (Makes save) the bomb’s blast radius.
OOC: He may attack or make another movement this round.

The plantient and ubersapien enter a room and are confronted by four roachoids. Farmanus waits for one of the insectoids to approach. He jabs, but misses with his spear.

Kurot speeds back, in a blur, to assist Ron at the rear guard. The android fires three arrows in quick succession at one of the Scavengers (#1) in the chamber, but the missiles cannot connect with the advancing insectoid.

Belial charges back when he hears Ron raise the alarm. (Double move to location on map)

  • ~ Two of the four Scavengers in the Station Stop advance forward and engage Denslow and Farmanus. One (#4) attacks with too much haste, and just grazes Denslow with the tip of one short sword. (DMG 2)

    The second one (#3) unleashes a fury of slashes from its four short swords and cuts Farmanus three times! (DMG 12)

    The remaining pair (#5 & #6) hold and wait for others to enter the room.


Silvestri slowly makes his way to the rear of the line (Double move to location on map)

Ron advances along the curved wall hoping to surprise any Scavengers that enter from the west tunnel. He takes a shot with his shoulder blaster at one of the javelin-throwers (#2), striking it in the chest! (5pt. dmg) Two roachoids bound out of the side tunnel and the cyborg catches one (#7) with the blade of his svetlegk, cutting a deep wound into its exoskeleton! (17pt. dmg) The insect oozes fluid all over the weapon’s blade and floor of the turntable chamber.

Frank lets loose two arrows into his advancing target (#2). Both stick into the insectoid’s body! (8pt. dmg)

  • ~ Kurot is slashed by a short sword (DMG ?) from a Scavenger (#1) who enters melee.

    A second Scavenger (#2) presses into melee with Frank. Three of its short swords penetrate the ubersapien’s defenses (DMG 12) and one slashes across his throat, causing the veteran to gasp for air!
    OOC: Frank must spend the next round recovering from his throat injury; no other actions allowed

    The two roachoids appear from the side tunnel and attack Ron. Their combined assaults cut, slash and stab the cyborg SEVEN times! (DMG 20) Ron reels as the wind is knocked out of him, and he struggles to recover.
    OOC: No actions next round


MacMak is far enough away from the blast of the goo bomb to avoid its effects. (Save not required)
OOC: MacMak may still make a single move this round

OOC: Scavengers #1, #2 & #7 have been hit. #2 & #7 are severly wounded

Kurot grabs his axe and hacks at the scavenger that damaged him. If he manages to fell the insectoid, Kurot assists Frank. "Hold on, Frank! I'll be right there!"

Denslow attacks the nearest roachoid (#4 by my read) with his Denslow Svetlegk attack [1d20+3] = 6+3 = 9, dmg [1d10] = 3.

MacMak will not enter the goo, and he also wont fire into melee! He goes to the intersection and call for help, as the northern group is in disadvantage

"URRGK!" as the insect's blades cuts deep.

Still surprised by the dual attacks which have struck him, the beleaguered human's counterattack lags.

In desperation, he thrusts his spear into the insect's centre mass.

(OOC: can macmak cross the goo without touching it? like by the walls or something? if so, he will do that to get closer, to shoot his crossbow. If not, he will go to the other group and look for a safe spot to shoot)

Tunnel Complex, 300D/81 (Morning)

Bruce and Frank are the first to react. Bruce darts forth and assists his veteran comrade, pummeling the mutant roach (#2) with his nunchaku! (7pt. dmg) Frank, struggling with his bleeding throat injury, manages to draw his sword and thrusts it into the foe (7pt. dmg), running it through – DEAD!

  • ~ The Scavenger (#1) opposite Kurot is unable to connect with its four short swords. The construct’s defenses hold firm.

    Ron continues to be assaulted by two (#7 & #8) insectoids, but avoids the majority of the attacks. The cyborg is only struck twice by one of the denizens! (DMG 11)

    Vulnerable due to his lack of armor, Farmanus is struck four times by his opponent! (DMG 12)

    Fortune favors the plantient, and Denslow withstands the Scavenger attack with just two light wounds. (DMG 8)

    The two other roachoids (#5 & #6) are still waiting for a potential attack through the slime. Their posture indicates they will probably advance on their next turn.


Kurot successfully chops his foe (#1) three times, severely wounding the deviant insect! (15pt. dmg)

Belial moves against the roachoid (#1) enganged with Kurot. The mutant baboon fells the foul insectoid, slicing off its legs with his polearm! (7pt. dmg – DEAD!)

Ron's autoblaster fire misses the intended target as he recovers from the fury of attacks from last round.

Denslow strikes back at his opponent (#4), cleaving into its midsection! (6pt. dmg)

Farmanus eagerly thrusts his spear into the abdomen of the insect beast (#3), opening a significant wound (8pt. dmg) that barely fazes the Scavenger!

Silvestri and MacMak pass each other, making their way to opposite groups. They glance confused looks at each other, but continue in their respective directions.

OOC: Silvestri makes a double move and MacMak makes a triple move (one move from round 2) to the locations shown on the map
