MOS: and Skills learning:

I will add and edit this forum to place notes from the Recon book and any additions to skills that folk may learn:

1st Aid Skill: may be learned as a non-combat skill by any MOS class. When using a first aid kit, the person may bind wounds up to 1d4hp. Any medic gets this skill automatically and providing 1st Aid kits are at hand may add this additional bonus to their healing score from skill levels.

Detect Poisons and Disease: a trained medic may take this skill to specialise in typical issues that are dominant in the area such as malaria, cholera, dysentery and an understanding of poison from venomous snakes, scorpions, exotic plants and drug misuse. Treating patients afflicted by various disease or poisons, the medic may heal 5 points of health per grade of skill in this area, subject to the correct medicines or antidotes being available.

Drive Vehicle: any class of character may use a skill to learn to drive. The minimum base effectiveness is equal to your Agility score. You may add additional grades of driving skill for each of the 'class' of vehicles at the usual 5% increments up to a maximum BE of 95% (greater only if your initial Agility score is greater). The four basic vehicles types are: a)Drive Motorbike. b) Drive Jeep. c)Drive Truck. d) Drive APC. (armoured personnel carrier).

Note* you must be able to drive a jeep before you can drive a truck, and your must likewise be able to drive a truck before you can drive an APC.
