@Monsieur Rose
No worries. I'm a bit behind myself ;)

@Scott308
I'll PM you here in a bit, when I get to the house, about your profession

@All
Thanks for everyone's input
Ok, CharSheet is mostly done. The important stuff anyway. I always forget how much effort it takes to spin up a campaign, especially with a new rule set. Anywho...I've attached the char sheet below for reference purposes. I uploaded it to Google Drive and shared the folder (see link below). Each of you have your own spreadsheet. I house ruled a few things to make things simpler. Very complicated rule set.
Here is the sucky part...The drop down options I programmed in certain cells to make calculating things easier, doesn't work in Google Sheets. So there's that. If everyone is ok with this option you can download and modify the docs and then upload them back to the drive. I'm open to other options...??? If anyone has issues with it working, I'm not apposed to filling it out for you. No worries there.

CharSheet Google Drive Link

Here are the basics you need to know for filling out your CharSheet:

Character Sheet Tab
General
  • Only the spaces that are white (not grayed out) should be filled in
Some cells have notes attached to them for additional info/clarification form the players guide
SPEW Attributes
  • Enter your SPEW-AI generated attributes
Survival Points: These will be awarded as we move along
Gestalt Level: Enter the number of Gestalt Points you have remaining
Competence Points: You will gain these at the start of every in-game day (after you’ve completely filled out your character sheet, enter the number listed under “Daily” in the “Competence Points” box
Psyche-Morale
  • We will use this later. Leave it for now
Viral
  • Viral Points: We will use this later
Health Points: Everyone starts out with 5
Damage Threshold
  • We will use this later. Leave it for now
Disadvantages
  • You can choose up to three from each category, but I would advise maybe limiting it to no more than three total. Maybe spread them out. But you don’t have to choose any of you don’t want to. Totally up to you. The Disadvantages cells have drop down menus to select from.
Cargo Capacity
  • I’m still working on the Equipment List and Carrying Capacity. Leave this for now.
Vitality
  • Symptoms: We will use this later in the game. Leave it for now.
Injuries: This is where you will document injuries and the hp associated with each injury.
Challenges: List any RL challenges you want here, specifically related to physical health.
Hobbies: List all of your RL hobbies here. It will come in handy later on for skill checks, etc.
Body Slots
  • This is just for reference purposes. We’ll use this more later.
Skills Tab
  • Your SPEW attributes here are automatically puled from the Character Sheet tab and are only used as reference for calculations. Ignore this section
Supp.: Enter a “Y” in this column if the skill is Supported by an Ability (See the Abilities Tab for your supported Abilities)
Adv. Lvl.: Enter the number of Gestalt Levels you wish to assign to your chosen Skills.
(SS): Skill Support bonus – Enter the number from the “(SS)” column of the Abilities Tab for every associate Skill in the “Skill Support” column of the Abilities Tab.
Training Value Mods: You will use the associated number in the “Bonus (+)” column for any Skill checks when you use the associated Kit/Gear/Etc. in the “Category” column. i.e. If you have Archery Gear, or are using a Pistol, you would use the bonus for any checks that might be required.
Abilities Tab
  • Adv. Lvl.: Enter the number of Gestalt points you wish to assign to your selected Abilities. (Choose your Ability first using the drop down menu in the “Ability” column.
Ability: Use the drop down list in each cell of this column to choose your desired Abilities. Please choose your Profession Abilities first, then whatever else you like.
Asgn. Att.: Enter the Attribute that you wish to assign the Ability to (for those abilities that have multiple Attributes).
Skill Support: This lists all of the supported skills, for which you get bonuses for, for each ability.
Gear Tab
  • I’m still working on this one. I’ll explain it when I’m done.
This is where you will list all of your Gear, carried, or otherwise, including Weapons.

Thanks. I'm looking at the info everyone provided so far. I'll let each of you know my thoughts as I work though your info.

Also. my apologies for not getting the starting thread up yesterday. I'm looking at that now. Please let me know if you have any questions.

FYI, my thought is that we focus on role-playing aspects rather than mechanics of the game. I think that will give us the best experience overall.
Thoughts/. Comments?

Never a problem on my end about any tardiness in posting. Its all good.

I tend to agree that RP should take precedence over game mechanics, in any RPG. Lets just see how this thing goes.

Ok, made one or two tweaks to your character profile based on the info you provided. If there's anything else you think of let me know and we'll adjust accordingly. If you dissagree with any of these changes let me know as well :)
  • Added 1 (SS) point to “Calm Other” Skill (you have two instances of that in your Abilities (I feel like they should stack)
  • Added 1 level to “Animal Friendship” Ability due to your Veterinary Tech experience, which added 1 (SS) to “Composure” Skill
  • Added 1 level to “Autodidact” Ability for your Bushcrafting & Gunsmithing/Knifemaking/Forging experience. Which added (SS) pints to Survival and Craft/Construct Skills

General CharSheet Updates:
  • Added Myers-Briggs Section

    • Chemist (Profession)
    • Small Business Owner (Profession)
If anyone knows, or would like to find out, what their Myers-Briggs personality type is. Here is a link (free).
https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test
Not required, but it's fun to review, and read about other types. I'll add your type Strengths and Weaknesses to your Character Profile if you share your type.

My sheet looks pretty good. One thing that I forgot to mention is Swimming. I did not swim competitively, but we had a pool growing up and had friends that lived on lakes, so I spent a LOT of time in the water growing up. Even now, if we stay in a hotel, I will swim laps. I don't do this regularly, but I consider myself a strong swimmer. I typically am able to swim underwater from one end of the pool to the other and back without surfacing for a breath. This is obviously a hotel pool, not going to be able to do that in a full size pool, but gives you some idea. Also, for housing, I have a three bedroom, 1.5 bath with a decent yard. It is a twiniminium- a duplex where each half is owned by different people.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
