Allan continues to be mindful of traps and peers closer at the wall for any inscriptions or clues.

Phillonious will move up to the right of the other two party members, with his spear in his hand. He’s going to try to probe for an entrance, or at least thinner areas of growth.

As members of the group cautiously move towards the wall Allan gets closest and is able to see through some gaps within the vines what looks like stone.

Phillonious prods the wall his spear slides through the vines and the distinct sound of hotting stone behind confirms what Allan saw.

You able to surmise this is a stone structure that looks to have been over grown, you are standing in what would almost be the center of the wall and it runs roughly 50 or 60 feet to both right and left of where you stand.

Sandarin Highhill

The young paladin steps back scanning the wall for any entrances.

"Maybe go over the top?"

Moony

So an ancient ruin the forest has decided to regurgitate from the hidden depths. Moony tries to remember if before the pre-independence days of Thesaly there were temples and cults in this area.

Saxony

An overgrown ruin is fine but that doesn't account for the dread feeling and poisoned ground.

The warrior follows left or right.

if the roof is intact, climbing up might not be the best... lets circle to the right, see if we come across an entry?

Phillonious Nods and starts moving slowly along the wall to the right, probing with his spear, looking for a potential entrance.

The young warrior follows the wall to the right.
He is trying to sense anything out of place or dangerous as they move along the wall

You move to the right 60' where you find the wall turns right again. You travel along this wall another 120'. You fail to find a window or door and it turn right again.

After you urn this last corner 60' ahead you see vines running up a columned archway which you surmise is the entrance.

Moony

Approaches the entrance with care trying to identify the vines to see if they are the normal creeper variety not the strangling vine, manatee ensnaring type.

Does the archway have any embellishments such as a gargoyle or heraldic symbol, enscriptoons.

Allan also studies the entrance for any possible sign of tracks or what inhabits this place..

Looking at the sky and then back to entryway, Ruthgar leans on his flail: We need to decide if we camp tonight or push forward... I am of the mind that we push forwad and enter this place.

Phillonious
If we find the entrance soon, I doubt it makes much difference. If there is anyone, or anything, to note our presence, I am sure it is known. I would like to sleep protected from the elements. But we don't have a lot of time before night falls, bringing darkness to this already gloomy place. If we can find an entrance soon, let us do so, if not, let us make camp while we can see what we will have to defend.

Saxony

Rather camp in an enclosed room not in mouldy forest. Let's press on inside.

You approach the archway and find the vines to be the same standard creeping vines you have seen all along the structure. As you reach the archway you see it covers a entrance way. The vines here have been chopped away, it appears sometime in the last few weeks and the remains are already withering. This exposes a set of double stone doors which are slightly ajar.

Moony

It is not a figure I recognise or can place with my limited religious studies.

The ranger checks the floor figuring boot prints and human sized feet trespassed this way, he hopes to confirm it, a single set of prints or many? He keeps an arrow nocked ready to fire at any adversaries.

Moony sees no recent tracks, he reasons no one has been through the doorway in at least a week.
