Continued from Virtual Realities, here is where Those That Went Before may go on conversing OOC.Inferno wrote: "...Xygax is... The Dungeon Master..."
The scholarly historian recognizes this venerated title from out of timeless antiquity. It exists within an elaborate game that the ancients of 'Earth That Was' once played. Of this antediluvian amusement, Adrock knows only what legends tell: It was possible to die in the game, or to win great treasure, magic and power.

In his own twisted radioactive mind, he thinks about finding himself a nice tight pair of cut off purple jean shorts.
Very fitting for Avengers 4 release day.

a few questions
In the egg room how wide are the doors that go into the eggs, and is the parts creature big enough to fit through them.
The green slime came down when LL pulled the chain hanging from the ceiling correct, did it come down form the ceiling and cover the full egg of was it like a stream of water that came down on a specfic spot

The egg doors aren't very wide. The abomination won't be able to fit through. But the eggs themselves aren't very deep. It could reach anyone standing inside an egg.wolfpack wrote:a few questions

When Adrock turned the lever in the wall, the green slime rained down from a shower head in the ceiling. The slime would splash anything standing in the egg and eventually go down the drain in the floor.
Also, every baptismal font (toilet bowl) in every egg had green slime in it; motionless and unable to get out.
Re: The Gamesters of 'Earth That Was' (ooc and questions ll)
the space between the eggs, is it to tight a fit for the thing to get through? as in if we squeeze between them to the back corner could it follow?
Re: The Gamesters of 'Earth That Was' (ooc and questions ll)
No, not unless it moved the eggs or maneuvered over them.
Re: The Gamesters of 'Earth That Was' (ooc and questions ll)
Anyone have any string to tie around one of the shower handles and activate it from a distance?

I'm pretty sure Maskelyn has rope- but he's in no condition to say so.

Sorry gang. I completely underestimated how brutal and unforgiving ASE-1 is. I thought that starting you off at 2nd level would be enough. But clearly I was wrong.
I expect this will end in a TPK or close enough to one to end the game. Sorry everyone.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm cool with it. Sure, winning is better, but "sometimes the bear gets you".
I wouldn't be opposed to re-tooling and trying again, if you decide to.
