Elanriel
Just to be sure, Elanriel sticks her sword into the creature's corpse and then heads after the others into the beetle room.
I'm imagining it's unlikely she will be able to get in a position to attack, so she will adopt her usual position of guarding the rear.

Re: Chapter 2: The adventure continues...
To clarify those that were in the Thoul room would not be able to attack with melee by the time you get to that room unless the ferrets or Weston retreat you would maybe be able to attack with ranged once and that is a "conditional if"

Urtesi stays in the Thoul room. He had heard about the magical abilities of trolls and everyone had noticed that this Hobgobliny Thing had some resemblance to a troll. So he watches the corpse suspiciously.
Is there any hint that its flesh is regenerating?

No sign of regenerating that is the interesting part of the Thoul it says it only regenerates 1 HP per battle round if it is kept alive. You guys got the thing to -HP so to me that means dead and not regenerating.

Yeah I would presume seeing that it is now dead, the battle is over, so no regenerating at that point.GreyWolfVT wrote:No sign of regenerating that is the interesting part of the Thoul it says it only regenerates 1 HP per battle round if it is kept alive. Looking around at everyone, she nods and proceeds to call her ferrets to her.
Then leaving them to it in this room, she goes over to the Thoul room and searchs it and the dead goblinoid.

Weston will help to search the room, but before he will approach Egon
"Do you require more healing? I can beseech a favour from Lord Azuth and see if he will allow one of my spells to be transformed to healing"

I am still almost as tough as many of the others are currently.

Urtesi makes his way to the beetle room.

"Thank you Urtesi, but you did nothing wrong. Securing our back is important work. If you had moved up to aid us against the beetles that goblinoid could have ambushed us and the outcome may have been very different. You did well my friend."

Beetle Room Search
You find nothing of value though you do happen to notice that even though the beetles are dead their glands still glow and might be worth extracting to perhaps have some sort of glow lanterns created in town.
Searching the dead Thoul
You find a very well kept Scimitar and an ornate scabbard for it. The creature wears a sort of colorful piecemealed type of leatherish armor it is also fairly ornate. Other than that the creature has nothing on him though there is the sack pile and log piles in his room that could be searched if one wished to.
