Bruce, I am north of Ed a bit but the same state. Here it is currently -9 F which is -23 C. Supposed to warm up over night, around dawn they are predicting 12 F which is -11 C.

So far I only got like 2 inches of snow and it's still around 9-10 degrees F above 0. But the town plows aren't out at all the State however is. Though if they are plowing it's an entire snow road so you can't really tell.

I think you may end up with more snow then me. Still sub-zero here and we might have an inch.

We have so far a few cm's of snow right now and it is -33 Celcius with the windchill here in Montreal

Had my Saturday D&D session tonight which was interesting to say the least.

My Svirfneblin Earth Elementalist lost her hand. Luckily a party member has a ring

of regeneration but this will take at least a week in game time to grow back ..

You guys from more northern climates are obviously of hardier stock than me :D Here in Hampshire UK, I start to feel pretty chilly when it gets down to zero C or below. -20 or less is like almost unheard of! In fact, having just checked online, the lowest temperature ever recorded in England is -26 C. So stay warm all! ;)

My version is 0 is unconscious if hit with a piercing or slashing you are bleeding 1 hp per round until healed or someone bandages your wounds. Pretty much you are alive until -10 HP then dead unless someone has a raise dead or resurrection spell/magic item that can cast it or an act of a god basically.

Ok official update, I have about a foot of snow, 12 inches, about 30.5 cm. Just spent about 2 hours outside with the wife shoveling 2/3rds of my driveway. I still have to uncover the car and shovel around it and it's about 9 F still, -13 C. Still showing good here too and the storm warning/alert is until 4pm today. Then we have a wind chill warning from 6pm today to 1 pm tomorrow. Wind chills as low as 25 to 35 below zero F.

So she is at 0?

Her action is to slump unconscious to the floor ......  :D

However, I am presuming that the 2 ferrets may take offense at Guard #3 harming their friend?

Similar here Ed, a couple of degrees colder and a about 10" of snow (25.4cm). Still snowing hard. Steve, I am 45 miles SE of you (73km). But I live in a town of 2000 on the side of a hill, about 1200 feet (366m) higher in elevation than you. My towns average annual snow fall is 124" (316cm) so you could say I am used to it. We had a meter of snow Thanksgiving week (late November).

I've shoveled 3 times today. But it stopped snowing about 2 hours ago.

Steve yes the Ferrets would guard you however combat ended so other than a charmed orc that now has no idea what to do... I guess if the caster is down the spell wears off? Hmm.... :?:

However Del was just healed 3 HP.

There is no way i would have been able to hit the grocery store today before the wife had to work. It took almost all morning to just clear the car off and shovel the driveway. By the time we finished it was about 1-2 hours before she had to be to work. Kinda glad we did the groceries yesterday even if it was chaos in the store. But an almost entirely vacant store sounds like something I'd love for the next time i have to shop ;)
