Interlude in the City
Re: Interlude in the City
Moving things along. After the first week, Dunulk gets restless. At the Golden Lamphrey, over a glass of sour wine, he tells you a sob story about his uncle and starving mouths to feed. He seems very excited about breaking into the mansion, but he also seems a little bit distant.
The next morning, you awaken to find him gone, along with all of the green coins! Never trust a thief, especially an Easterner!
The big party/heist lead is a week away. What do you want to do?
We can abstract the heist planning, and you may carouse one more time, either paying 7 gp to stay where you are or 3.5 to downgrade to the slums, if you want to give up the coins and Dunulk for lost (for now). If you want to pursue Dunulk, we'll start the adventure there.

Re: Interlude in the City
Shmehk shrugs when he sees the coins have gone "They were worth more or less what his share was anyway"
He wants to spend another week carousing before we do the heist.

Fiapy:
Fiapy follows Shmehk's lead....
"My friend Smek, let me know when you are ready and I'll help. I am lost in this town without you until a ship from the North comes back which may not be until next season."
"Ho boy, a whole year in this place?!?!"

Re: Interlude in the City
Ok, so go ahead and roll for your carousing.
Fiapy, are you carousing, or just waiting? You don't have luck to restore, but you can take part in the randomness of it, if you want...?

waves off the offer of drink...
"That's what got me into our last fix in the first place, grape knee high for me."

Re: Interlude in the City
Alright... please roll 2d6 to see how much luck you regain.
You will also need a d4 to help figure out the consequence, should there be one.

Re: Interlude in the City
You regain 3 luck.
Over the course of your evening, you taunted a wizard. Fortunately, a few drinks succeeded in smoothing over the situation before things got out of hand.
Because you regained an odd amount of luck, there was no consequence. Had you regained an even amount of luck, the wizard would have cursed you such that everyone would perceive you as being of the opposite gender.

Re: Interlude in the City
phew, that could have been interesting:-)
can we get anything for the guards leather armour and short swords?
Shmehk wants to go back to his padded armour.

Re: Interlude in the City
Theoretically, sure. They are saleable, but bloody. How about we handle that after the heist?

Fiapy:
looks around...
"Crap, did I bring my armor out of that place or leave it there? It was a bit nicer than this stuff."
"what did you say to get that wizard all riled up?"
"I had your back though... way back that is when wizarding is involved..."

Re: Interlude in the City
If you want to expand on what happened with the wizard, we can do that. The overall effect was a near miss argument that got smoothed over.
Yes, Fiapy kept his hide armor, which I assume he wanted to change back into once the disguise wasn't needed any more.
